I said it all along Kassian has a lot more potential than Hodgson. Hodgson will be a great pp player and offensive zone player. But he's not the type of player you win championships with. He's not hard to play against. Kassian is a f*cking handful. He's gained two steps this year. All that time with the Sedins in the offseason must have really gotten to him. He has the potential to be a game breaker. Looks like the Sedins have found a new linemate. Burrows has passed the torch. That bodes well for the depth of our lineup.

Kassian is not only becoming the best power forward in the game, but maybe one of the best players in the game. He can score, hit, pass and his defensive game is impressive. If he keeps playing with the Sedins I think he can make a serious push for 40 or 50 goals this year. IF he keeps playing with the Sedins. He is a total force out there. Kassian can score at will. Something we haven't seen in a long time.

That used to be the notion, but we've tried plenty of linemates that didn't work out with them. You have to have some finish and offesnive awarness to get the job done with them. If the rumours are true and the Islanders really are the mystery team and Gillis is putting a package together for Tavares then look out. The Canucks will be set for years to come with Tavares, Kassian and Schroeder.

It was a good hockey trade for both teams. We had no need for Kassian cause of Foligno's emergence. Sabres got their first line center, Canucks got their gritty winger. Sabres win that trade though only cause Sulzer has been very steady for us while Gragnani isn't even with the Canuck organization
