i will not be trolling, but its clear the rangers are a different team this year. im not saying they wont be a good team, but they messed with their identity and the recipe for success they cultivated over the last 2 years.

the identity of the team isn't in question, it's more their lack of preparedness. it looks like very few rangers played during the lockout and it shows. players just look so slow out there, with the exception of a few. lundqvist looks a little rusty so far as well, although he was very good in this game.

yea but when the team is playing badly, it can snowball into a prolonged losing streak or too many games that don't turn into two points.

I have no problem with venting the emotions. I am just seeing a lot of "blow up the team" or "this guy is overrated" or "we are clearly not contenders." If you guys actually mean that, thats not venting thats insanity.

Its a bad start for a team with no training camp or preseason and a lot of roster turnover (A.K.A. the same number of wins as after four games last year when we got the #1 seed).

Seems like you guys are expecting the Penguins... We are a team that relies on team defense, goaltending, hard work and can be successful a top 15 offense.

Just glad you guys are not the GMs of this team because that is when we would really be screwed.

Anyways losing sucks but its 4 games in, you guys all realize that. We are going to make the playoffs and from there we have the talent to win it all. So personally I am not going to sweat the bad start. If we are 2-8 I will start to worry.

This team is playing like crap. We went from being a hard working blue collar team to a bunch of overpaid spoiled brats. Our depth sucks. Our homegrown players suck. Our goalie sucks. Goddamn it we are supposed to be dominating this league not be its whipping boys. (frank) this. I shouldnt have to put up with this. I shouldnt have to be miserable 3 of the last 4 gamenights and be forced to beat the poop out of my imaginary internet girlfriend to feel better. Its pathetic that I work harder watching the game than the whole team does, and they get paid a lot more than me. Torts needs to wake this team the (frank) up. Sather needs to get us some goddamn depth. Bickel needs to go away forever. Just get me the damn cup this year so I can live the rest of my life in peace
