who doesn't? thats how you score. leopold picks the puck up in the neutral zone and i yell "shoot you bastard shoot"

agreed but maybe the forwards could have come down. It just rubbed me the wrong way ... but the way the game was going I was pretty sour at that point.

This is the pet peeve of the guy that sits behind me at the games. He was getting really worked up over it during the Philly game.

It was certainly entertaing for me to sit and listen to though.

i do have a question for ya, you came into the devils thread after the devils 1st game and said that the devils aren't a very good team coz they only beat them 2-1 and all that, and then you said after devils beat the flyers 3-0 that it was too early

shouldnt your 45yrs of watching teach you that good teams find ways to win games even if they are not playing their best that day and that on opening night the home team (isles) runs off more emotions and the fans

its not how you win, its getting the win that matters

so my question is, you say its too early in a season but also say devils can barely beat a bad team (how can you judge after 1 game though) so why are you being hypocritical? and how is scott doing? is he stopping other teams from being physical and stuff?

Lol I know. Most on this team should indeed shoot more. But I was talking about those noobs that scream it without realizing that there is a bit of strategy that goes into the pp.

I'm sure lindy is to blame for our ineffective pp, and the appearance of certain players "over thinking" their game. Probably too scared to think with lindy on their backs.

if i was on that team i would be making fun of him.. I assume gerbe just let up as soon as the guy grabbed him and let him do it.. but you still have to give the guy a good laughing at about it, thats just how it works
