I can see the intelligence of turning the other cheek in the case of Gerbe last night, when Miller got run by Lucic, when Pommer got concussed, when Connolly got smoked...or any other time in the past where our team didn't do anything when a player got injured by a cheap shot.

But there has to be a time when you drop the pansy routine and say enough is enough, I'm tired of taking all of these cheap shots on this mother franking team.

Like, does anyone really think the reason Myers didn't do anything last night was because he was hoping to get a better face off position for the team? Ya right. Either they are all pansies or lindy wants them to be pansies for strategy.

Either way, a pansy is a pansy, and I thought the thrust if this season was to man up and play a tougher game.

Where the face off was after that shouldn't have been a concern of a team trying to pretend to be tougher.

I know thats annoying but at least he's into it and he's paying attention. I hate the people who only make noise when we score.

The guys all around me are season ticket holders and they're all entertaining. I two rows in front of me we have a guy that we call "Lazy Thomas Vanek Guy" because he's always yelling at Vanek about how lazy he is (while wearing a Vanek jersey of course). We all have a good time. Unfortunately the seats next to mine aren't season ticket holders so, sometimes I get stuck sitting next to someone cheering for the other team.

My favorite is when he starts to get really frustrated about it, he'll start screaming shoot when we're in the defensive zone just to be an ass. It's hysterical.

Is this guy a drunk? Does he stand up and point wildly and yell "you are going the wrong way!" When they regroup on a power play? I sat behind this guy in 122 a couple years ago. Funny but scary too

Thats Classic.

However there does seem to be a culture of "overinformed" Sabres fans that key in on certain issues wit the team a little to closely. It does get annoying. It seems like some people cant just enjoy the game.

The Flyers lose another dman.

Andrej Meszaros will miss at least a month.

But Darcy's phone isnt ringing for his 'middling" defensemen ?

Okay.

He's doing it on purpose because of the people who yell shoot all the time on the PP and stuff. He's trying to make a point. I find it highly amusing.

i apologies to everyone for my previous comments. we are all frustrated with the way how things have been going for the sabres lately. people that come on here obviously care more than the average fan and all your opinions are valid. hopefully a convincing win tonight will bring the community together.

He yells at the opposing goalie as well. Makes comments when we play Patty Kane about cab drivers and Heatley about going for a drive with another teammate. He's actually very entertaining. I get really upset when he's not there.

I was going to say, reading the comments, by many posters the last 16 hours has been crazy. They lose one game and were at each othes throats over disagreeences on whose fault it is.

hopefully a convincing win tonight will bring the community together.

If we need them to win each and every game and go 47-1 we have all got problems. Just sayin.

I don't get this "we can beat you up" attitude. Fighting is sideshow act in hockey now. And nobody is afraid to get beat up. The feistiest players are rarely if ever involved in fist fights. Goons play 5 minutes a night. The days of players policing themselves ended when everyone started wearing helmets and face-masks.

Can't trade for him if he is on IR... that is all I was saying... plus it would hurt us if we trade a healthy D-man for a guy that can't even help us right now.

Sad. I reported yours and Pairo's post.

As much as I dont agree I never resort to infantile attempts of trying to rile someone up.

I'll just leave it at.

Myers isn't a baby anymore, this is year 4 and since his rookie campaign he continues to regress, I've always said I think Myers can be good but not great. He has been our worst d-man this year by far. After Gerbe was hit from behind last night Myers comes up and taps someones shin guards...are you serious? The guy is 6'8 and as soft as can be. That deal that was supposedly on the table of Getzlaf for Myers was a steal and Darcy passed on it. My point here is I don't know what a lot of people see in Myers, all I see right now is him regressing.
