Your logic is flawed
You just said enroth will never be a starter because his Gaa was around 3 for the last 16 starts
Yet it was OK for miller to be there after 20 plus starts last season
That trend looks more like a team issue then a goalie issue - homiedclown
If it is a team issue than Miller is better than an average goalie |

They are trying to win too. They have a good mix of veterans and young guys. Look at every team in the NHL. Including the Kings. Last year the barely made the playoffs. Then all the sudden they look like super heros. They have a bunch of flawed players on there team to. The goal is to make the playoffs. Then ride a hot goalie and good chemistry to the cup! |

God forbid we block a shot once a game... We have to block the least shots in the league... And also, why does Miller have to be so aggressive? The reason guys like Lundqvist are so successful is because they sit on their goal line, and take up 99% of the net. - LetsGoBuffalo75
When you sit back at the goal line you dont take up much of the net, which is why goalies come out to challenge to make themselves bigger. The problem when you come out to challenge you need your defense to tie up the other options, which the Sabres arent too good at. Lundqvist plays back at the goal line because he relies more on his reflexes than just taking up space. |

2.8 goals per game played through 20 games played, but his record was 9-8-2 with a game he replaced Enroth in.
Still a team issue? |

Are you being sarcastic or do you actually agree with that statement? - theblueandgold
I agree too. i think myers makes more mistakes than Miller makes but i think he's either still working out that ankle issue or he's just got a confidence problem. either way myers will probably rebound soon enough.
Miller, I like a lot, yes he's not perfect but he's pretty good and he's saved our bacon numerous times over the years. he's no hasek but there's only one hasek, i like Miller and am in the minority on that one. |

He's not just relying on D, he's huge. Not only is he 6'3, he's wide as hell. It is in part relying on D, but him staying back like that is more responsible for his success IMO. |

After all of the panicked complaints about how terrible most of the players on the team are, if they win tonight, they will be 3-1.
If they go 3-1 every 4 games they play, I imagine everyone here will be pretty happy. |

I had some pretty shotgun reactions to the game last night. But now that I've had time to think about it, it was a bad game from EVERYONE.
Enroth played terrible, but nearly every goal someone else on the ice made a terrible decision for that to happen.
I think it was a poor decision to play Enroth last night instead of tonight. Miller is playing hot, he is coming off two days rest, you play your best goalie on the road. Play your backup at home. |

If you get to play Carolina and the Leafs 3 out of every 4 games you should be happy. I don't think it will quite work out that way though. |

I believe he is 6'1, and he is smaller then that when he is crouching, or does down, which is nearly all the time.
Also, let me know when King Henrik makes a deep playoff run. |

Hes not that big, hes probably average height for a goalie. Compared to Enroth hes huge, but thats not saying much. I dont pay attention that much to Miller in terms of making saves on the line or on the edge of the crease but he usually challenges shots pretty aggressively so I would assume thats what hes comfortable doing.
Either way theres no way of proving it either way. All i know is he better win tonight. |

Miller is more of an angles and positioning goalie.. he is usually out further in the crease when it is needed.. enroth is more of an athletic type of goalie, therefore he doesnt challenge as much.. if enroth were bigger i think he would be better but he is small and that doesn't help when you are that kind of goalie. |

That was my point.
He has done exactly what Miller has done to this point, and yet Henrik is all world why Miller is a bum, to some of course. |
