Am I the only one that is 1000% against the idea of trading Couts for Subban? We didn't trade Couts for the best dman in the league last offseason why trade him for Subban???

To be fair, none of us know exactly what Poile was demanding for Weber. It was probably significantly more than just Couts.

With Mez out, PHI should offer sheet Subban; 7years x 5.5-6M per

Overpaid but we need a puck moving D that can shoot and trading Couts is out of the question.

Easton Synergy EQ50's.. love them.. but still havent broken them in completely. Light as hell, and ive already taken a few pucks off the feet.. no problems so far.

He would make this team better... but im not trading Couts/Schenn's. Voracek would have to be the centerpiece, because of his salary.

speaking of gear: if anyone's interested, i've got 3 sets of leg pads i'd like to get rid of for virtually nothing. louisvilles (old)-but very good shape), itechs (worn twice, about 3 years old), and vaughn (about 5 years old - decent condition).

Put it this way... Subbans first year in the league he put up 1 more goal and 11 more points... as a d-man.

He isnt scraps. He is a legitimate force on the blue line.. and is only 23.

I don't understand why everyone is so protective of Couturier. Yes, he's a good young player but who know what he develops into or if this is it.

ive only been playing for about 4 years.. so i only have one of most things and two of some. Had to get new skates because some behemoth stepped on my skates and destroyed them.

Agreed. I don't want them to trade for Subban because Montreal will want the moon. I think Subban is good but not really proven yet. Fix the D in the offseason but to me Cooter is an untouchable.

I just got the Vapor 4.0's from hockey giant in cherry hill. kid was trying to talk me into the 7.0 saying G wears them. I rubbed my beer gut and told him im a washed up C league defensemen who should probably be getting the 1.0's.

But i have to say they are nice.

I saw him at that charity game in AC during the lockout. It wasn't an NHL performance by any means, but he stood as as a particularly slick player. I'd love to get him.

I started with Synergys and stayed with them.. These are a step up, but I got them from hockeymonkey for a about a third of the actual price.. couldnt be happier.

We have 6 pairs of skates. My son's been playing for 5 years and we given/sold at least three. Thankfully he's been a 12 for the last two years.
