anybody using NHL gamecenter on verizon phone? either i am an idiot or you cant pull up the Flyers schedule on this damn thing. last year you could easily look at any teams schedule roster etc, esp your fav team. i set the Flyers as fav team on this years app but all i see it does is put a star next to he Flyers game on the scores. i cannot for the life of me find anything to pull up just the flyers schedule

Yes. Someone suggested on Twitter, after the Devils game, that Lavi was on the hot seat. I responded that if he is, Homer's seat should be hotter. However, Lavi is going to make due with what roster he has. Homer did try to provide the team with better D in Weber and Suter. Plus, he *did* land Chris Pronger - the ending of that move could not be foreseen and left a huge gap in Homer's planned roster.

Even if the Flyers have a bad shortened season, I don't think either Lavi or Homer deserve a firing. Heck, if Andy Reid got 14 years in Philly...

You lose a player like Chris Pronger, and it's really tough. Let's see how Detroit does without Lidstrom. Like you said that could not be foreseen. You just don't go out right away and replace that player. They tried to land Weber, didn't work. I believe that Holmgren will make a move when it presents itself.

One of my favorite Flyers of all-time. Like Mark Recchi's first stint with the team - he gave effort, finished his checks, etc. Unlike Recchi's first stint with the team, he did not have the scoring touch he used to have in Carolina. Still - great PK'er and big-hearted player.

He was also really cool at the Flyers' Skate Zone after practice with my son when my son was about 2 or 3. His passenger? OB18's all-time favorite Flyer, Lasse Kukkonen.
