I haven't found one yet that makes me laugh. Don't worry though, not all comedy is funny to everyone. I'm fine with it. - Scoob
Not worried, but things like the dead parrot just break me up laughing.
Pretty much anything with John Cleese cracks me up.
Different strokes I guess. |

I think you are being completely unfair to Bryz. He has been far and away the best player on this team. There hasnt been a single goal this season that he "should" have made a save on.
That Neal goal was off of a clean draw and he had two players standing in front of him. So you have a 40+ goal scorer who gets a clean look at the top of the circle with two players screening the goalie.. Thats a hell of a predicament to be in.
As for the Kovalchuk goal.. seriously? You want your "highly paid" keeper to save that? Kovalchuk is probably the most dangerous player in the entire NHL when on a breakaway. Maybe even more so than Datsyuk.
There is NO issue with goaltending. Its not even on the list. - jak521

I don't like it when people say 'it is not Bryz's fault' when clearly he has been awful. But yesterday, he played a great game - strongsupporter
As clear as the Schuylkill.
The only thing that's clear is that you haven't been watching the games. |

Bryz's save on Nash from POINT BLANK last night makes up for the Neal goal.

Jak's point about the right handed D men is very true.
It was a big factor in their play off series against the Devils, they didn't respect the point, and collapsed on G and the forwards, and shut down the Flyers PP.
Another little fix by Homer and crew that deserves some credit.
(I'm tired of all the bashing the last few days of the management, they try to win and spare no expense to put the best team out there every year, and I'm happy for that). - Marc D
Well now that they won, there's no need to bash the management.
But I agree with you to a point. The lack of right-shooting dmen was part of why the Devils dominated the Flyers in the playoffs. Still, they could use a puck mover but at least we improved one area that was in need of a fix. |

I hope last nights game eliminates all this "system" talk I have had to read the past few days. Every system sucks when it isnt executed properly. That's the bottom line. |

Guess i am old and dont understand all the acronyms. Kind of realized it after i read how he agreed with someone who said the same thing i did. Sorry. - Stinkfitz
Ahh its good fun. Hell, we severely outplayed and beat the Rags last night. We are all happy about that. |

You're 100% correct but unfortunately, once they lose again it'll pop back up. It's easier and less time consuming to blame the system instead of trying to see the real root(s) of the problem. |

I was watching last night and i kept seeing that point to point movement, and it was beautiful. On top of it, it was killing the rags. If only Schenn had a little bit better of a hammer from the point.. He had about 12 open looks last night. |

Nope, Sledding up in the Poconos. I rolled off, felt a bit woozy but got better. Went to work on Jan 2nd, and started getting dizzy spells and headaches. Have been having them since. |

Terrible feeling. My brother touched on my concussions (ive had 5 diagnosed) in his best man speech. Ive been knocked out cold, hit over the head with a baseball bat, helmet to helmet in both hockey and lacrosse, but by far the worst I have ever had was when i collided with a teammate in the neutral zone.. wasnt even all that hard, hell didnt even knock me down. The PCS was terrible. Couldnt focus, read, sit up fast, do pushups. I had depression... poop lasted about 6 weeks. I know ur pain... hang in there! |

For sure. I think there's a sincere conversation to be had on systems and whatnot, but the difference between last night and the previous games was in the compete level and the execution. Last night, the Flyers showed up to kick ass for 60 minutes or so. |

Schenn and Jake V on the wall on the PP.
They really could use a sniper opposite Giroux on that side of the umbrella.
I'm still stoked over the win last night.
Hope they keep rolling down in Lukin Land. |
