I can't believe Grigo only played just over 6 minutes. Why not just scratch him? So we used up one of his games for 6 minutes of ice time, during a low scoring game where an offensive talent like #25 might have made a difference. - The_Inkwell
again LINDY RUFF....is the answer to that question..... he does not trust youth....grigo prolly made the wrog pass in the 1st and and barely saw the ice again waste of talent |

Did you watch Ruff's presser? He explained why. - Homer
He benches Grigs for 1/2 of the game for a PP turnover, but Pommer and Hodgson's giveaways that led directly to Carolina goals had no repercussions. |

What do you want him to do? Serious question. - Homer
It's not going to change however, some feel that a change is overdue. IMO Stafford will never amount to anything he just doesn't have it, as well as a few others. Lindy on the other hand, the voice is old and tired but I know I'm wasting my time posting it because it won't change. |

Typical Buffalo curse
"hey Buffalo, this is God, I'm going to send you an owner rich as balls and hellbent on spending his billions on your team. Oh by the way he's enamoured with the coaching/gm duo with a track record of making the playoffs 32% of the time in a league that lets over 50% of the teams in. And he's going to bring you big time acquisitions like Ville Leino and Robyn Regehr. Have fun." |

thats not why. He said he wanted to slow down Staal so he put Ott Hecht and Kaleta against him and he was happy with the results.
Grigs has done zip. We all make fun of Garth for getting on his knees for Grigs, yet we're all up in arms when Lindy doesnt play him when he's done nothing? i dont get it. |

Honestly, I didn't. I just got home from the game. I'll have to catch the audio on WGR's site.

I agree Lindy should be gone, but that should have happened a long time ago.
Thats on Regier, Lindy isnt going to fire himself. |

they should have given up on ruff last season when it was going to sh!t.....too bad the team made the playoffs 2 seasons ago if they hadn't perhaps lindy would be gone and Dineen could have been out coach...FLA is looking pretty tough |

Regier just got extended for not firing Lindy. The organization is run by clowns. It's like they are begging to be the Tornto Maple Leafs. |

It's really to bad that he's only on a 5 game tryout instead of a 9 games tryout; I think that would make a difference here. If that was Ruff's explanation, than I guess I understand. In a 48 game season, Ruff's obligation is to win by any means necessary. There really isn't time this season to be f**king around with things. |

they don't need to beg...... the longer we don't make changes the more and more we sink deeper into this mire of mediocrity......and the brass doesn' seem to care or want make changes |

he knows his players 100x better than we do.....does that make him right all the time, no. But i find it hilarious that people on here think they know more about hockey and this team than he does. |

Inconsistent players like Stafford, along with small, soft, skilled players in juniors/college but much less productive in the pros like Ennis, Gerbe, Roy and Connolly to name just a few fall on Regier as well. So do D-men who are basically clones save for aging slow ones like Rivet and Regher. Backup goalies suck as well and they fall on Regier too . |

It's a team in transition now. They've made strides to get bigger and stronger, but we just won't see a full roster of it for another season or two. |

I think everyone knows by now the Darcy won't be pressured into trading anyone, no matter how bad or how much the fans scream for it. He has to much faith in certain players ans those players aren't getting us where we should be. |

I really wanted to see Leino in the lineup to see how the team plays. Never thought I would say that. |
