No, keep thinking and you might get the point - GilPerreault
I get it calm down, we don't have those kind of players anymore and we were better with them then without. Some seen it different, Owner, maybe Darcy. |

Stifles the offense?
We've had over 40 SOG's in half our games so far. Its not Lindy's fault they arent going in. I think he lets the guys go for it. Some other stuff you wrote, sure, I agree...but i dont think he wants the guys not to be offensive minded. - Homer
let me clarify what i meant.....he stifles many offensive players.(again the two years after lockout '05 being the exception but that was more the 5 years ago now). Ruff has not let a lot of offensive guys play to their strengths.. not every guy can be Pommer or Hecht....and be good two ways...but that's what he demands a jack-of-all-trades team......Grigs may or may not be ready yet but hes is offensively gifted and i just feel like Ruff will ruin him and its a little frustrating |

is it ennis or is it staff?
I find it hard to believe this line has nothing after last year
and damn staff looks slow - homiedclown
There was a small vocal pocket of posters on here that tried to tell everyone that 30 games was not a large enough sample size to proclaim Ennis our savior at center. He's terrible. He can't win a faceoff and paired with an underachiever like Stafford that line isn't going to do anything. Plus Ennis looks like someone's 14-year-old sister with that scraggly hair. |

Have the Sabres ever had a skilled center with size since Darcy was GM? I hope Grigs is that player but in 16 years he has built small, soft teams. As much if not more of the blame for the Sabres weak teams falls on Regier if you ask me. |

That's cause they have Sean Burke as their goaltending coach. Turned Mike Smith, who was a normal backup into a Vezina-worthy goalie. |

Vanek was getting a beating every time he got in front of that net but the ONE time he gives a little push he gets a penalty. Let them play hockey refs.
Plus I think the refs were out to get Vanek tonight. A 4 minute penalty!?!? That was pathetic. |

I really wanted to see Leino in the lineup to see how the team plays. Never thought I would say that. - SABRES 89
If we are banking on leino, or hecht or scott to be the savior
we are doomed |

flip him to rw and put foligno at lw
park folignos ass in front of the net and let vanek stay in the slot and rip them
his shot is too good to be buried down low
side note, get pommer off of the point on the pp and cycle 3 guys |

Myers the direct result of a 3 on 0 .
The weak play by Myers on the empty net goal by scrawny Jeff Skinner just about sums up Myers.
I know one thing from watching last nights game , well 2 things.
How Lindy is using Grigorneko is just wrong. Setting the kid up for failure unless they already fully intend on keeping him up but even so, on a line with John Scott? Really Lindy?
It's only 4 games in but this team is not good enough as it sits. That is so clear, crystal clear!
Darcy is going to have to try and make this team better somehow , someway. All the scoring can not keep coming from 1 line . |

He was KILLING me earlier. And he's so righteous about everything.
I think he got picked on a lot in high school. - Pairo11
Just the opposite really.
Trust me, you know nothing about me.
Look at that picture again . Does that look like a dude that got picked on in high school.
My mother and great grandmother growing up on the old italian west side of Buffalo used to have tell the girls screaming my name at 3 o'clock in the morning to go home.
Go buy a clue, seriously.
But yea I was picked on for sure.
Dont hate chap.
And I know I will be wrong for saying something again yadda yadda yadda but it's okay for some of you to continue on like children when I have moved along.

I get your point,
But do u really wanna break that line up?
It's the only one that's producing
Plus, what would the remaining lines look like?
Foligno-Hodgson-Vanek
(......)-Ennis-Stafford
Ott-Grigorenko-Pominville
Hecht w ennis & staff?
Leino?
U can't put gerbe there IMO bc ennis is already tiny
Maybe we need to shake things up,
But it's also risky considering how good that top line has looked |

I think everyone knows by now the Darcy won't be pressured into trading anyone, no matter how bad or how much the fans scream for it. He has to much faith in certain players ans those players aren't getting us where we should be. - SABRES 89
It's not just Darcy though,
You have to have willing trade partners too
And they have to want what you're willing to give up
I don't think it's as easy to make trades as we all (myself included) would like to think it can be |

Stafford ? Of All People ! Can we please end the Stafford expirement already ? He s the most dissapointing winger we have since he signed his last contract. Anyone beyond Miller maybe Sekera and the Starting forward line sucks right now. |
