In the Philly game after ennis got hit and stafford stepped up to fight Hartnell, where the hell was Scott?
The very next time Hartnell was on the ice, Scott should've been out there, dropped the gloves, and just started pounding him...
Even if Hartnell didn't wanna fight,
Don't care, take the extra penalty...
We'll kill it off, and even if we dont, itll still be worth it...
We'll be a lot better for it in the long run

Then Gerbe gets boarded the other night...
And STILL NOTHING from Scott?!

Him fighting some other teams "goon" isn't gonna stop guys like Lucic, Hartnell, etc from taking runs at our skilled guys...

If the guy isn't gonna "enforce" then what the hell is he doing here?
Because watching him try to skate with and/or pass the puck is freaking pitiful

A message needs to be sent,
That other teams skilled players need to watch their back...
Because of they take cheap shots on our guys,
Scott is coming after yours!
And I also don't care if that sounds dirty

Hodgson is only n pace for 36...

I totally disagree that it will be worth it, esp in Hartnell's case. Maybe in the Lucic running Miller cause that was blatant and malicious. Harntell didnt even get a penalty for what he did to Ennis....what he did to Pommer he got called for, but I dont think it warranted a beat down from Scott.

People are smart. They arent going to fight Scott in a situation like that. Why would they? Ive always said if you wanna get even with Lucic for example, don't go after Lucic. Run Thomas, or in this case Rask through the end of the rink. That will piss off Lucic more than anything, and get his teammates to tell him to knock it off because they dont wanna get run. Lucic is a tough customer, he could care less if you go after him, he probably enjoys it.

The team needs to be tougher, it doesnt all fall on Scott's shoulders.

I don't necessarily disagree with any of that...
But then what's the point of having Scott?
Him fighting guys like Westgarth does absolutely nothing to "protect" our other players

And I don't wanna give Philly a 5min pp either,
But if we have to take a couple of those to keep our guys from gettin injured by cheap shots... Then I'm begrudgingly for it

Scott beating the crap outta Giroux would certainly make teams think twice about cheapshotting our players... And that's the point, isn't it?
Otherwise, Scott has no place on our roster
