yeah he caught him and tied him up for 2-3 seconds. unless myers hauls him down or makes a amazing play theres nothing else that can be done. you cant harp on that when we are shorthanded and down a goal with less than 2 mins to play. the game was over. i dont think anyone should be focused on this as a negative on myers.

Tyler Seguin 0 goals in 4 games. Im sure the 3-0-1 Bruins are in an uproar. Myers is just another typical Buffalo scapegoat. Will never be good enough until you present people with his actual numbers and then theres nothing to be said. People forget that Myers was chasing Skinner from behind on an empty net, If Skinner does not score it's a GREAT play by Myers, not a bad one

He makes mistakes, they all do. He's 22 years old, The Maple Leafs just sent Gardiner to the AHL, he's 22 as well. Not you in particular but most people think he is an average player, look at his numbers, they are well above average for a guy on a non-playoff team

I'm pretty sure Subban and Peitrangelo will get Myers like deals, I wonder if they will get run out of town for not being perfect? I would bet on one thing, If Ken Hitchcock was our coach Myers would be 2x the player he is now

A contract is a pretty good indication of what an organization expects from a player. This is his forth year he isnt a rookie anymore. You know else was in his draft class... Stamkos he seems to take the responsibility pretty well. Im not saying he has to be an all star, but he has to be our 1 dman.

Myers game is not even close to Subban's game, Subban has no problem playing hard and throwing down, Myers plays soft.

Not saying I like where each player is, but that's how I see it. Maybe switch Leo with Sekera.
