A contract is a pretty good indication of what an organization expects from a player. This is his forth year he isnt a rookie anymore. You know else was in his draft class... Stamkos he seems to take the responsibility pretty well. Im not saying he has to be an all star, but he has to be our 1 dman.

myers has not been dominant these past 4 games but judging from his previous seasons he will be fine this year.

Ranking Sekera is tough though,
Some nights he's 5th, others he's #1...
If he could find some consistency this year that could be a huge lift to our defense
And it's be nice to see the Calgary version of Regehr,
I'm hopeful he still has something left in the tank

Myers game is not even close to Subban's game, Subban has no problem playing hard and throwing down, Myers plays soft.

You need to stop taking this so personal, for what Myers brings to the table he plays like a midget. He brings no intensity or bang to his game at all. you watch Subban and Doughty and they bring it. Myers is a skinny rail who play scarred and nervous.

Again Stamkos was the #1 pick, it's completely different. He's is not a dominant player right now, I understand that, but he is also not a liability. His numbers prove that, he needs to step it up but people are over reacting about it

myers is good for a goal every 4 games a point every other game ~1.5 hits a game a penalty every 8 games and a good plus minus.

It's mainly me, I do take it personal just because I know if we let him go he turns out to be what we want him to be.
