And then he gets man handled by a munchkin on the empty netter all the way down the boards from the blue line to the net.

people are gonna make a bad play or 2. if you can provide a argument based on some either tangible numbers or video proff of something that he has been doing wrong, more than anyone else in the NHL, i think most people will agree with you. until then its just your perceptions of him.

This may shed a little light on some things in terms of Grigorenko. It seems he's not being used much differently than some of the other guys that are his age.

Scott shouldn't even be on the roster- if he just here to fight other teams' goon then he's useless bc that'll hardly keep ennis, gerbe, etc from getting run

Ennis is freaking terrible at faceoffs & Grigorenko is doing pretty decent for the most part..... Play Ott with Ennis and now we have a good faceoff guy on that line

No i think both statement are just the fact that we are 4 games into the season. A season we waited waay to long for. Evgani Malkin has one goal and is a minus 3.

What I am saying is he will never live up to this hype that surrounds him or his contract. I can think of many different players I would take for Tylers contract. But we wouldnt be able to get those players now because i'd bet GM's around the league are seeing what I am seeing. His trade value has taken a fatal blow the last 3 years looking at it from Darcy's point of view. And its only getting worse.

He is not that good. He is average at best.

I have to agree with that. There is no way Darcy's phone has been silent. If Vanek plays & Grigs sits, that would be the perfect game to bring in Brennan & sit (insert d-man here)

Because people like you put him on a pedestal that he'll never be able to achieve. It's the same reason that Tim Connolly was never going to succeed here no matter what he did. Even if he came out and had a season like Danny Briere, he was never going to be good enough because of the fact that we lost Peca and got him instead.

That's part of why fans aren't the best evaluators of talent. We're too biased and base our opinions on things we know nothing about.

If he's as bad as you think, then why would Team Canada even have an interest in him for the Olympic team next year? They feel he's good enough to be one of 6 defensemen. Out of how many that could play for them?

That's all I need to know about him right there. He may not look good to me sometimes, but those people know better than I do.

Skinner is average height, and has excellent balance from being a figure skater before hockey. Myers is a klutz. Add two and two together and Myers will lose that battle 9 times out of 10.
