Got to watch about half the game at the restaurant last night, watched the rest on the DVR when I got home. The Flyers did what you have to do to a bad team, or at least a team as banged up as Florida-kick the everloving poop out of them.
Would have been nice to see Bryz get the shutout last night. He deserved it. He made quite a few big stops.
Now that D-Day for Laughton's here, I hope he's watching the game with Homer in the box and on a plane to Oshawa tomorrow.

Bill,
So Ek posted about Coots not going to Mtl for PK. Since this is our biggest need right now and PK is young with great upside...would Read plus a pick be feasible to get this done? And would it be worthwhile given Read's play and potential? He really has some good chemistry going right now with G and Simmonds
We had a bit of an issue with our reservations, but it turned out OK. Took the kids to a skating party at Cherry Hill roller rink, and then we took the PATCO train to Philly. Hit the Liberty Bell(had no idea that hours earlier there was a bomb threat) and got searched like we were going into the White House.
After the restuarant snafu, we went back to Cherry Hill & hit Kaminski's. Got to watch the game and see my kids bodycheck our friend's kid into the bar, which scared the crap out of the guy sitting there and necessitated me to purchase him a beer.
awesome game last night, bring on the bolts, bryz did indeed deserve a shutout, i like laughton and think he will be very good but he has not showed me enough to stay but as a fourth line center how much harm can he do to stay, who else would be the 4th center? not sure theres an upgrade over him at this point.

I'd probably agree to Read and a pick, but I doubt that Habs would. I like Read a ton, but he's older and is probably going to sign a prohibitive deal when his ELC is done.
Still, I really like Read's game. Good scorer, good wheels, works hard, good two way guy.

Never thought I would say this but I'm looking forward to seeing Lilja.
Foster is struggling. There was a late shift with Grossmann and it was a nightmare last night.

Meh.. all this talk about Subban is frustrating..
If homer was smart he would try to find another dman and see what they want for him..
Pretty sure there is a GM out there willing to let go of a better Dman then subban for couts...
Nah, it was the older one. Guac ate something that didn;t agree with her and was a little out of sorts. Still she had a good time and danced when Read scored his first

If we wouldn't deal Coots for Weber then I find it hard to believe he is going anywhere (yes I realize it was Coots plus probably). But with what he has shown he is capable of ...just ask Malkin...I can't see him being a piece that would be available. And I really like Read as well but can see him being an option to bring in PK.
As for PK, he has matured dramatically since we abused him in the playoffs a few years back. He is playing the #1D role in Mtl and still is young. He has the skill set that we need on the back end in a puck moving mobile D Man.
