I think they kind of wrote off this game from the beginning. 2nd half of a back to back against a team they never beat.. I could see beat down all over this game.. throw leighton to the wolves and get to New York.

I'm with you on that, the team effort was lousy. Leighton wasn't exactly Dryden out there but the team was lousy as a whole.

Yes and no. If they're gonna roll Bryz out there with the team playing this poopty I don't think it matters. Maybe Lavy sensed a poor outing and decided to let leighton get shellacked. I really don't know this is disgusting I know that.

I wonder what my boss would say when I work back to back days and have no energy on the second day... Sorry being a little irrational but the lack of energy on a consecutive day is pissing me off.

Team was out of gas. A lot of gliding on skates out there. I saw Wayne Simmonds a number of times, not get to pucks and lose puck battles that he normally wins. Not singling him out, but it's just an indication of a tired team. When you see that from Simmonds, you know it's an energy issue. Need to regroup. Work on the special teams. And get back at it Tuesday. Rangers are going to be ready.
