Ruff is more worried about brining the best of his defenseive ability out, then he is letting Grigorenko use his natural offensive talent. - ImThatGuy
i mean having a bunch of offensive players with no defensive ability is basically the capitals of 3-5 years ago. last year they kind of messed up ovechkin by stressing too much on defensive ability but players like hodgson and grigo need to be offensive and defensive, they just need balance. hell zetterberg and datsyuk both said multiple times how they could probably score a ton more if they weren't defensively responsible but they know they have to in order for the team to win.

I'll 2nd that! ... and yes, Vanek is a machine, but why do I get the feeling he is more like an 8 yr old GM 6 cylinder with 135,000 miles on it, well taken care of, instead of a
5 yr old BMW with 35,000 miles on it, that has been stored for the winters?
Just sayin...
Sabres punish the Leafs tonight: 5-1 - Stadtusquo
But if that GM 6 cylinder is like this and its supercharged....

I do. The Bills and the thugs and criminals that play the game of football have turned me off from the game the last few years.
I wont bother rushing back home to watch the Super Bowl either. Couldnt care any less about it really.
The Bills hiring a college coaching staff pretty much was the icing on the cake for me. But in the NFL players in general just nauseate me. They all have the same sob story of growing up in the hood blah blah blah & blah. Perhaps if they stop killing themselves , their girlfriends, their friends, stop running innocent people over and leaving the scene and stop the animal cruelty dog fighting rings perhaps , just perhaps I would be more involved with the NFL.
Look at how they praise that scumbag Ray Lewis. Typical NFL garbage and scum! - BuffaloHardHat
Wow. Talk about over-generalization and stereotyping. Guess you're entitled to your opinion, though.

It's all truth.
NFL players are the poorest role models we could wish upon any of our children.
Yet they get shoved in ours and our childrens faces at nauseam. Starting to despise the NFL really and its players.
Real men play hockey. These should be your childrens role models. Not scumbag Ray Lewis.
Now Seau's estate (errrrrr family) are trying to sue the NFL for allowing him to play a game , make millions and get rich off of it ? The nerve really!
That league and its players disgust me more and more every day. - BuffaloHardHat
First off all NHL players arent choir boys, far, far from it and the great majority of NFL players arent criminals or gang bangers.
The product on the field is very entertaining, dont really care if they have 7 kids with four different women or whatever else it is that bothers you. |

I dont agree with what you said but dont disagree either. Parents allow these people to be idolised. People in all walks of like will be good people or bad people. Trust me even hockey players can be mean. One of my all time favs growing up was one until I "met" him. |

How many horrible cases just this season say you're wrong?
1 is too many for our children to witness.
Sad blind world that elevates Ray Lewis to icon status when he indeed is a world class scumbag! |

I honestly love the NFL but the parity in the league is getting to an all time high. The Harbaugh Bowl? Ray Lewis's retiring and getting to go out playing a super bowl. It's like a god damn soap opera. I honestly can see why some people think sports are fixed (not me) |

Its actually not my opinion, its a fact.
Its your job as a parent to teach your kids right from wrong, not athletes.
I like Ray Lewis, great player, maybe the best linebacker to ever live. |

I had what I thought was a small oil leak for the longest time. Turns out it was the Steering rack the whole time. Had a new rack put in around $500, car steers like brand new. The whole time I thought the car just drove heavy and oversteered because it was a gm boat. . Anyhow did you ever have the valve cover recall done? I know it was on issue on the Pontiacs. Super quick job/easy fix. |

I think youre using the term parity wrong. Parity means balance, or lack there of in the level of competition.

If anyone has a problem with Ray Lewis because of some legal problem 13 years ago they need to adress it with the District Attorney's office in the county that it happened in.
Its the super bowl of pro football. Not the "Who has the squeeky cleanest record here" bowl. In which case Brian Moorman would be Champion 12 years running and would hold every record forever. |
