Athletes do need to be held accountable by their employers to be role models because their employers target children as one of their demographic. It's not right if the NFL has a Play60 commercial promoting children to play football and have a convicted criminal in the commercial. Not saying they shouldn't be allowed to play but they shouldn't be portrayed as role models if they have broken the law, unfortunately Ray Lewis broke the law and is still looked upon as a role model

Just to be totally accurate here, Ray Lewis was convicted of Obstruction of Justice and nothing else. I know that is criminal but your tone makes it sound like he was indeed convicted of murder, which he was not.

I really don't care how you spin it he was involded in a murder. He ditched his suit from the night in question and lied to police. He was nothing short of a shady character and people act like he's this model NFL player which is false.
