New England lost its two best defensive backs. Talib and Chung. No surprise they made adjustments and came out the second half throwing all over the Patriots.

The game changed when Welker dropped that 3rd and 7 pass inside Ravens territory. Patriots had a chance to take a double digit lead if they scored on that drive. They were never able to drive down the field after that.

And that's after the miracle at mile high.. 70 yard TD that should have been an interception, Manning throws a pick in OT..

Couldn't agree more. He's so uninspiring. Yeah, he's been successful in the playoffs, but it almost seems by accident.

In no way a big Flacco fan but he gets an unfair rep.

* First rookie quarterback to start all sixteen games and make the playoffs (shared with Matt Ryan)
* First rookie quarterback to win two playoff games[21]
* Most starts by a quarterback in first season: 19
* Most starts by a quarterback in first two seasons: 37
* Most starts by a quarterback in first three seasons: 55
* Most starts by a quarterback in first four seasons: 73
* Most starts by a quarterback in first five seasons: 92
* Most wins by a quarterback in first 80 consecutive starts: 54
* Most combined regular and postseason wins in first three years as a quarterback: 36 (tied with Dan Marino)[22]
* Only quarterback to start and win a playoff game in each of his first five seasons[23]
* Most regular season wins by a quarterback in his first five seasons: 54
* Most road playoff wins by a quarterback: 6 (Source: Wikipedia)

Now I know he benefits from a great defense but the guy in my opinion is a gamer. And they should have went to Super Bowl last year if not for Mr. Evans.

i like him getting the nod up this year. toronto played us really tight last game but then again they are missing 2 of their top scoring fowards. buffalo better come out skating hard.
- joshs

I think we are gonna blow them ou of the water tonight. Yes the last game was close but if Ennis hits an open net on that 2 on 1 it's 3-0 and game over. Toronto has blown leads and has some bad injuries. Should be a typical home laugher against them tonight I think.

This got off track...

Personally, I think we lose to the Leafs tonight. You?

- nfph

if we have a 7-1 lose tonight does shat hit the fan or does management go back to the office tomorrow and plug away as usually?

I know everyone thinks Grigo needs more ice time and better linemates and I agree. However, I think the weight of knowing he is here to stay being lifted will elevate his game as well and I hope to see a reflection of that tonight...given he is on the ice enough.
- JdoublesU22

I'm thinking he'll see between 15-20 TOI tonight. First career multi-pointer.

Talib is a huge loss, Chung is more of an afterthought to them lately. Gregory and McCourty were their starting safeties. Chung was a backup

I think the last part sums it up. I dont think hes terrible but I dont think hes taking over and winning games like some others do. If they had Cedric Benson do you think theyd be as good?

Always liked Flacco but like you say, he does benefit from a great defense. Curious to see how this team does next year.

Tough to argue with those numbers.

I just don't trust him I guess. Is it too much to say that I'd rather have Kaepernick? Just feel like he decides their games, and Flacco is the benificiary. I could be wrong i suppose.

Maybe Leo can slip on the ice again... we were great last year when Patrick was at the helm... 2-0-1 I believe... win against Boston 6-0, OTL to NYR 2-1, and win against Philly or Pitt I believe?

Definitely noteworthy, is it possible to demote a coach for say 10 games?

Saying it would feel like rolling a tire down a hill, over a ramp, and on to the sac of a gentleman laying in a prone position, would have been to wordy..
