Jochen Hecht is a joke. The only reason lindy brought him back because Dixon ward said no. Lindy is a bad coach. He had the greatest goalie of all time in hasek. He hasn't made the playoffs 7 times,which is pathetic. Robyn Craig rivet regehr shouldn't even be playing anymore. Matt Ellis,Cody McCormick and th list goes on. Play Hecht 19 min a game and play grigorenko 6 with Scott,ruff was a bad hockey player and even worse of a coach

Lindy ruff sounds just like chan gailey. Since Carolina was playing staal so much we had to counter with Hecht. You let the other coach dictate how your line go. Staal isn't even in the top 10 players. So we have to see Hecht all year at 18 minutes. Well they put 8 in the box,so we had to throw. AND NO,HECHT WOULDN'T EVEN BE PLAYING IN THE NHL,NO ONE WANTED HIM. Lindy is the only coach in the nhl who can turn a 40 or 50 goal scorer into a 20. The one player the sabres always neede was a zack kassian.Kassian so far like grigorenko never left the 3 rd or 4 th line. We trade kassian before we saw what he could do. Funny how he is good enough to play with the sedans. THE PROBLEM WITH BUFFALO SPORTS RALPH WILSON,DARCY REGIER QND LINDY RUFF.. 70 years

he seems like he might be a bit of a grump too. he was on a calgary radio station talking about the move from calgary to buffalo and didn't have a nice word about this town and just seemed generally annoyed with the fact he wasn't in calgary anymore.

i don't expect him (or want him) to re-sign next year (and i did used to like him as a player with calgary)

I think this is more about trying to keep things fresh and keep guys involved than it is about really shaking things up
