Thomas, Berezin, Sullivan, Modin to name a few. I'm obviously not a Leaf fan but i think goaltending covered up the deficiencies on D.

Wrong. The odds aren't significantly lowered. The last placed team is still guaranteed 2nd overall and still has overwhelmingly good odds at 1st overall compared to other teams. Stop the nonsense indeed.

theoretically that would cause them to finish last, so you have 1st overall, plus those picks.

Im not ignoring the fact that Vancouver has been drafting in the 20s for years now, unlike Toronto who wont be drafting anywhere near there.

The Leafs are not, and will not be, last or second last overall. Stop the nonsense indeeder.

It doesnt work that way. And if you want to trade players to ensure a near bottom finish, guys like Kadri and Frattin who have been among the teams better players so far would theoretically have to be traded too.
