I honestly just want him to start dumping guys. I'm really not concerned with the mediocre prospect or mid round pick that we'd get for guys like Leo. Screw it, trade him for a 6th or 7th. All he is doing is taking the spot for a young guy like McNabb that could easily step in and do a better job.

Did you miss the first Toronto game? Because he's the reason we won that game. He may not be as "elite" as you'd like, but he's not a pedestrian #1 goalie. That would currently be Jose Theodore.

Myers had 23 min so what? Ehrhoff as we all know is better conditioned that lazy slow starting Myers, that's no suprise but you even said yourself he had some giveaways, he didn't play great for being out there 28 min

I think Ehrhoff got time out there with every single guy at some point tonight. He started off the game with Sekera, but when Weber got called for all those penalties, it was a total mashup out there of D pairings. There were times he was only off the ice for about 40 seconds before he was back out there again.

Fwiw, I usually agree with Goosie, but in this case I don't. Myers was far from a game breaker tonight, but he was improved over the past three games. I thought this was something he could build off of. Sad my hopes for him are now so diminished, but he wasn't a disaster for a change.
