Ehrhoff's deal is beautiful... 4M for that guy.. fantastic.

For one I'm just frustrated as hell. I'm just afraid that with all these young guys running around. Who is supporting them and helping them grow. And are we wasting true profesionals time like Miller and Vanek.

That all totals 48mil over 8yrs...

So how much did we really save?

We had vanek, Roy & Pommer playing big roles as young guys when we had briere, Drury, etc leading the way
Henrique played a big role as a rookie for Jersey last year
seguin the year before for Boston

I really don't think we are that far away
We need someone who can score to play w Grigorenko
(maybe Armia?)
And a true improvement in our top4, even one solid Dman could be a big help
And a guy like Helm that can play 4th line center & come in for big faceoffs

It comes down to coaching, we have all seen what the team is capable of when there on their game, but they can never gel. It's on Lindy to get them playing cohesively and he hasn't gotten it done.

That works out to a savings of only .75mil over 8 years
I'd rather have the extra 2 years to evaluate Myers before giving him that big deal

Plus, he wouldn't be dealing with the pressure that comes from getting such a huge deal for anothe couple years when he's presumably me more developed and mature
