I'm bailing on the Third Period and going to the Lockport Outdoor Store. Any place on the way to buy some dirty magazines and a six of pack of malt liquor? - DixonWard
Yeah - I thought the Leafs played well in all their games (even our loss to you guys and our loss to other losses. Then we played the Rangers and man, they impressed. - twiztedmike
110% correct. My buddy who just started watching hockey is trying to become a Hawks fan. He met me to watch the Sabres/Canes game and asked me why my team can't even complete passes. It's really embarrassing how far behind these top teams they are. And I'm sick of the line, "Well it's only 5 games in", actually it's been the last 5 years we've had to deal with a team that won't play for their head coach anymore. - buffalokb
Agreed.
I admit I am more conservative at times but this is the same dance Buffalo has done for years. Changes are needed which probably includes behind the bench.
I was watching LA and Vancouver last night and I thought the same thing. Those teams were so fast, strong and hit everything in sight. Watching some of the quality teams in this league makes you realize just how far away we really are. - The_Inkwell
It's interesting watching teams with multiple centers who produce. I was watching Pittsburgh tonight and just seeing how Malkin moves without the puck is incredible. Sure he is one of the league's best but usually those teams are playing at the end.
SJ, Vancouver, Chicago all have dynamic players that can takeover a game. Buffalo has....Ellis and Scott....oh ya I forgot they are tougher now!!! Still bad but tougher...

They're needed, but they won't happen. The Sabres have an owner that doesn't like firing people.
nosebleeds are under $50 for Leaf games anyway. Platinums are $300. - prock
Maybe 5 years ago you would be right, because they certainly aren't that cheap anymore. I got a pair of tickets in the second to last row, 163 us for the pair, retail value. That doesn't include parking.

What you sabres fans think about keeping Grigo? Kids having a tough start, no question he is talented but would it have been better to not burn a year off of his contract for a short season and send him back to junior?
