Check out Dredd if you can. It's nothing special, but it's a simple action movie. Kind of a cross between Die Hard and Escape from New York. Plus, Sylvester Stalone isn't in it.
I liked the Hobbit. Might not have met everybody's expectations, but I had fun.
Oh, Django Unchained was good for some ridiculous action, too. Definitely not for the kids, though. - BulliesPhan87
Dredd wasnt bad.. but it coulda been great.. the guy who played dredd is awesome.. wish his helmet came off once in a while |

Wouldn't mind giving Boychuk a shot. Don't know how he fits right now though. |

The helmet staying on was a plus imo. Definitely a good performance, though. Reminds me a lot of Kurt Russell in Escape from NY/LA. |

I agree with on both guys. I prefer to give those shifts to the young guys. - Stinkfitz
Knuble certainly isn't going to move the puck well, but i saw him at least trying to compete in the cycle game along the boards. he took the puck to the net hard on a couple occasions. he's not a top 6 forward anymore, but if he continues to play around the net he'll have a chance to make a difference.
can't say i'm happy with the overall defensive effort at all, but it seems as tho Coburn is TRYING to make an impact, and Schenn is playing solid.

Me and the (soon-to-be)wife haven't been to a movie theater since we met each other in '08.
I'm a-okay with it and so is she. - MunsterMike
Same here, until I took my son, 10, to see The Hobbit last month. My wife was going on a day trip with her mom. I got my son a popcorn and we shared a soda and saved $ by going to a matinee.
Aside from that, DVD's are just as enjoyable at home as movies out. |

We have 4th waiver priority behind Wash, Flor, Cal.
If he gets to us we have to claim him. Have to. |

In my opinion it seems as if Bryzgalov and the top four on defense are the only players on this team holding up their ends of the bargain. With this said there is a massive drop off when you look at the third pair. We had to of known this was bound to happen if Meszaros was completely unable to hold up. Now, I highly doubt PK Subban gets traded here. I doubt he gets traded at all but even if he did, I think we go into the same problems, if not more with Subban as our number one defenseman. He's talented but not there yet. I think most of our fear of needing to upgrade our D comes from the uncertainty of what may happen with Timonen in the offseason. I hope he signs for one year at four million to buy the flyers more time at a replacement. Fair price too. What I am really worried about the the offense. Where are the goals gonna come from? I have no problem with fans dreaming of Bobby Ryan, I think his talents are being wasted playing behind players in Anaheim. It is what it is though. I will reserve judgment on Voracek until he plays with Giroux full time but it is his fifth season in the NHL. I don't see him blossoming into a threat. In fact I think we've over paid him twice. |

John Boruk tweeted last night how Bryzgalov has done a complete role reversal. He was trying to calm the team down last night which would have been ridiculous at the beginning of last year. Shows you how comfortable he's gotten here. Now we just need the players in front of him to chill out as well. - NickTheKid87
Bryz has been a real lead by example guy so far.. never hear anything weird from him in the press and he's been playing fantastic. How he was not one of last night's 3 stars is beyong me. That was Jack Edwards epic homer from whoever picked them. |

When I go to the movies, I go cheap.
Know the machines that let you buy tickets electronically with a Visa?
Buy the senior/child tickets. They are usually a couple bucks cheaper. The kid that rips/scans your ticket never bothers to look. |

Ryan isn't really playing behind anyone on Anaheim. He's either on a line with Perry and Getzlaf or Koivu and Selanne. Not exactly low-skill players. He averages just under 18 minutes a game for his career.
I think most of our fear on D comes from the offseason in which a lot of us thought the blueline would feature one of Shea Weber and Ryan Suter, not to mention Matt Carle still being around. I've said this before, but too many fans compare our blueline to what could have been and not the league average. I still think we need to add a puck mover though but overall I think this D corp has actually benefited Bryz. |

Well, they could use him on the 3rd/4th line and move Rusty to the wing. He was highly toted (14th overall pick in 2008) and that's what really entices me. Maybe he'll be a late bloomer? |

It's not a bad thought. Aren't the Flyers at 50 contracts, though, with Knuble signed? |
