Am I the only person here that thought seinfeld was the worst tv show of all time?

I just find Jerry to be really annoying.

Maybe more of my hate comes from his stand up. Just an annoying face to look at also. The Drew Carey show was miles above Seinfeld imo.

Seinfeld is a classic, but not for everyone. In the same way as those who love science fiction hate Star Trek, or music enthusiasts dismiss the Beatles.

They're all classics for a reason. They're original.

That was the point of her though. She was there to be hated.

Drew Carey and Third rock had their moments, but neither was Seinfeld.

I think the only two shows that are in the same league, as far as being consistently good for long periods of time, were The Simpsons and MASH.

Part of the fun of Seinfeld was not liking the characters. All shallow and self-absorbed asses.

Not necessarily, or in principal. But I don't think it's what we need at the moment.

My post was more of a comment on the tone of most of your posts and your general attitude on here. Many of them seem like you're going out of your way to be a Richard, not trying to avoid it. For example, you continue to bring up non-hockey related, inflammatory topics like politics (most recently a derogatory reference to the VP) despite the fact that it has no place on these boards.

In general, you don't conduct yourself on here like someone who is trying to avoid being a Richard. Maybe you're a swell guy in real life (although your past comments about your wife and women in general make me question that), I don't know. But it's a free country and this is the internet so you can do more or less what you want until/unless you get banned. But in case you weren't sure, you don't come across as a guy trying to avoid being a Richard.

I've only seen the first episode of the Birtish version so I can't really judge. I love Ricky Gervais though. I've been watching a ton of An Idiot Abroad lately.

i hate almost every sit-com on now. even the ones i've never seen. they're all horrendous. forced writing. terrible acting. not funny.
