Even though I don't think Weber is that good of a player, he has more balls and guts then just about any other player on the team at least he had a go.
"I thought he was sideways," Ruff said. "Some of the obligation is on the player (being hit). He wasn't defenceless. It's a tough area. It wasn't a blatant (example of) run a guy from behind." - from tsn

I think Ruff put it best:

Think Kaleta kind of knew the hit was coming and turned to try and get a call. It sucks that he got hurt because I like him on the PK.
Good for him. This play wasn't even close to being a suspension. If it was, Brown would have had a hearing considering he has been suspended before. I do hope kaleta is back for the next leafs game, let's see if that rat will fight anyone.

EXACTLY, and that's also coming from a Sabres fan!
It's also Kaleta's fault that he put himself in a vulnerable position. He saw the hit coming, turned to get a call and paid for his actions. Brown was given what he deserved in terms of a penalty and then dusted Weber.
The only person making a big deal out of this Garth.

is Steve Ott also a cement head for the boarding call he took on his first shift against the Caps the other night? or no because the guy wasn't injured?
