Imo it's that fan pressure thats played a big part in both teams GM's being forced into trying to build in a hurry rather than taking time and building from foundation up..
That said both the Leafs and Sabres have a foundation in place now but it's gonna take some time before u see it on the ice..Just have to hope management doesn't try to rush things..

I disagree in the case of the Sabres. In Buffalo's case they were(prior to Terry) a team put together on a budget, who fought for respect and recognition and one way or another would rebound from bad times and exceed expectations. The fans embraced the underdog role along with the players. Now, the new management comes in and makes all these promises that we didn't exactly ask for, and they are failing under that pressure. In fact they seem like they have gotten worse under it. And the fans now are just bystanders to the product waiting for it to resemble what they were promised.

Can't even believe the person who wrote this article! Hockeybuzz better do a better job selecting who gets to post these threads. I can't believe how bias and one sided this goof is and everyone is always all over the leaf fans for being unrealistic. I watched the game also and I'll say it how it is Kaleta turned right before the hit its nobody's fault but his own weber by know means showed brown what was up, give him credit for standing up for his team but good luck next time and lastly do we really have to read about you whining and complaining about everything else your a sabres fan I'm a leafs fan so we both know how often the sabres beat the leafs (again realistic) do we all need to sit here and read you complain about everything because your team lost! get over it try not making the playoffs for 7 years then maybe I'll listen to you whine and complain, All and all I thought it was a great game both sides had some good goaltending kept it rough and close right till the end not much more a hockey fan could ask for. Oh and by the way good job Kardi for purposely hitting someone on your follow through of that shot haha what a joke this article was
