Weber skated down the ice to confront Brown when nobody on the ice did including Scott. Yet he gets railed on for it ?
Not to mention in only 1 game played, Weber had the best defensive play by any Sabres dman this year on that sliding block on the 2 on 1.
I can think of 3 different dmen on this team, that Weber would, should and I hope will be playing in front of every game. - BuffaloHardHat
I love weber , the guy cares about his team and does what he has too , I don't think Scott even had much time to get too the fight before weber though, but I wonder this did lindy tell Scott not to go after brown after weber went after him ? Lindy him self saying it was not a dirty hit makes me wonder.. |

Are you related to Mike Weber? You bang the drum like you have some sort of stake in him playing. Your Wood for Weber is becoming borderline Garth obsessive...just saying. |

Well....tonight we see if Buffalo actually can bounce back. If they lose this game in convincing fashion we can fear the worst for the playoffs.
We are not beating out Boston AND Ottawa in the division. |

Weber played a good game vs the leafs , yes last year was not kind to him but many many dmen have a hard time there 2 year, his rookie year he was a plus 18 in 58 games . |

I try to ignore most of it.
Weber played a fine game on Tuesday and twice came to a teammates defense. |

Right on! If John Scott can't jump in there then I just don't understand the need for him in the line-up?!? I do think he has been a little better "Hockey wise" than most of us expected but we need goals!! If he don't handle sh!t tonight then Lindy is even dumber than I thought to keep giving him ice time. |

Miller gets blasted by Lucic, we do nothing's. Fans mock us an our team. Everyone advocates they should have punched first. Asked questions later.
Someone stands up for Miller and does exactly what they didn't last time? Gets called a scum. - Buffalo--Sabres
difference is, Kaleta has a history of going for guys who aren't tough, and backing down from the tough ones.
Brown doesn't take cheap-shots(and this wasn't one, Kaleta was just being himself and made it a dangerous play to draw a penalty), he just went to plaster the guy to remind him that he's gotta pay for his poop. Oh, and Brown fought right after to stand up for his clean hit.
Kaleta wouldn't pay the due for punching a guy while he's down.
Honestly, I think even though Buffalo lost the game, getting the extra point and having Kaleta forcibly removed from the line-up helps them more than a win alone would have. |

Agree Lamont. I have actually been quite surprised with Scott's 'hockey game'. He has been in some pretty good scoring positions more then just once.
Lets not over analyze or under analyze this game tonight but make no mistake this is the type of game that Scott was brought here for. |
