Didn't even read your article until the end, and I have always respected the Sabres organization...but Kaleta deserves every single tiny piece of bad luck he gets in life. Karma owes this guy more than it could ever possibly dish out. He's a bad person to the core.
Sorry to infultrate your blog, and I won't return, but I saw Kaleta's picture and had to make a comment on what a terrible person he is. One of the dirtiest players ever to play the game. - JLO961

Leaf fans are so proud!!!! this is the closest they will get to Stanley cup in any future time... let them enjoy their championship now because they will be golfing here shortly much like the Sabres will be. |

Then Kessel should learn to watch where he skates. - LetsGoBuffalo75
Not only was it blatantly unintentional.. But even if it was.. Kessel is the softest player in the league. He could skate head on into your goalie, and it would be the equivalent of someone taking a swing at miller with a pillow. Far from something that deserves your gutless goon taking shots at the back of his skull.
You guys really need to tone down the sensitivity. The Lucic thing is in the past, and had nothing to do with the leafs. |

Clear rule, if the follow through is the cause of the high sticking, its not a penalty. Simple. Stop being such a sore loser.
Where was the "crying" when Kaleta blindsided and elbowed Kulikov? Slewfooting Johnson mid stride as he heads towards the boards?
Suspension? Here is a concept. when you have the puck lost in between your skates, making you fair game for a check, don't turn into the boards. Take the hit like the "tough guy" you pretend to be. Simple. That's borderline stupidity on his part.

Funny how Ek rakes in the dough with his "Bad Idea T-Shirts" ads with half of the girls' tits hanging out, but get banned if we post any suggestive pictures. |

Like the LA Kings in Carter and Richards. 2-5 - sbroads24
Well, that would be 2 pieces (technically, Voynov might be more important than either, as his play allowed them to get Carter from Columbus for Johnson). But yes, their additions of Richards, Carter, Voynov, King, and Mitchell were obviously important pieces. |

Who cares? Weber fought him and lost, Im sure Brown will step up and fight Scott next game right? - sbroads24
Did you really just compare Kaleta dropping the gloves with brown after needlessly jumping their star player.. To brown fighting Scott?
Not only is that the worst comparison ever, but if brown jumped pominville, and started smashing in the back of his head.. He would probably take whatever comes next.
.. Sweet comparison. |

Since 06-07 he has been in 33 Fights, 20 in the NHL and 13 in the AHL....it be nice if you knew what you were talkig about before ripping him for not fighting. - Homer
Did I touch a sore spot? It's too bad you're not bright enough to comprehend that my comment had nothing to do with his lack of fighting.
But now that you bring it up - 20 NHL fights in 4+ seasons... impressive. Too bad they don't keep a stats on "cheap shotting a skill player then refusing to fight an experienced fighter". I bet that would be even more impressive than the number 20. |

Celebrating being gutless. Cool.
Meanwhile, in Toronto... Phaneuf is still catching heat for not dropping the gloves with Matt Carkner after a borderline hit on Tavares a week ago. Interesting. |

Skull??? And how does toughness have anything to do with the impact of hitting someone? Kessel is around 6' 195 lbs. You tell me it wouldn't do damage if you got ran into by someone, even at that size. |

Sorry but I disagree entirely with your observation of the play, as does Lindy Ruff. It was a hockey play and Kaleta wasn't blindsided nor was he defenceless. Furthermore, Kaleta isn't exactly the patron saint of hockey neither, and yet you speak of Mike Brown like he is what is wrong with the NHL. I get having team pride and it's never good to see a guy get injured but I think you were a little off on this one |

It has nothing to do with Lucic, either. Miller has had concussion issues, and he gets run into again 2 games into the season. Kaleta has a right to act there. |

sorry, but for all the ruckus Kaleta cause's... and turtle's whenever a legitimate fighter wants to call him out... that hit by mike brown, compared to that of Mcdonalds' on lovejoy, is a love tap. He barely made full body to body contact. Kaleta is dan carcillo with a couple more teeth. Worst 1.25 million ever. The guy get's paid a hundred grand a point and turtle's in fights more often than Semin.

At the end of the day I want to know one thing. We are once again 6 games into the season and one of our players got scumed. Then we spend weeks debating every angle of it. Why are we the ones always on the receiving end? When are the Sabres going to stop being the victims and go on the offensive. The rules practically demand it. Brown hospitalizes a guy and the Leafs get a power play. Jochen Hecht nudges a guy, the leafs get an extra 2 minute pp. (frank) this poop. We suck anyway. Good it the (frank) up. ENTERTAIN ME! |
