I feel this way about Stafford and history proves it he is very veyr very good in stretches I want a player hwo can be consistent all year long.

Its just like OV take away his empty net goals and hes not a 40 goal scorer anymore. but he puts in 14 of them a year and there he is right around 50

Name a defenseman with a 2.75m cap hit that you think is a better all around player than Sekera. As for Stafford, I agree that he doesn't actually have that consistency, but if he started putting up 80 point seasons, I'd be more than happy to reconsider my opinion on him.

And the only thing that keeps OV from being a 40-50 goal scorer is his own laziness. Skill has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Myers needs to learn how to use more than just his wingspan to defend. He's been marginally more physical this year, but I'd take Sekera over Myers any day of the week right now.

Ton of mistakes is incorrect his first year yes he was a Minus 30 Last year a plus 16 and this year already a plus 6 His rookie season he made mistakes not so much since

Edit: But this is based purley on stats However his mistakes are down since his rookie season

I think we should avoid excess physicality with the Bruins tonight, stay focused on the game. Were on a 4 game losing streak.

If we got over the top and challenge them and the beat us down, they are just asking to extend the distraction and embarassment that came with Lucic running over Miller.

I think we should just focus on winning the game like you say. Also have Foligno or Ellis or Scott go full bore into Tuuka if possible. If that starts a ruckus so be it. I do not think we should actually throw down otherwise though.

Even you just said it's takes a D-man until 26 to enter his prime. Myers is 22. He will be fine

Solid list. I don't know much about Klein or Ellis, but I'd say the rest fit. That is good solid company though. I don't know if I would consider any of them better than Sekera, but they are all very close together.
