I think he's been one of the best. It's what he does in the offensive zone that drives me crazy. But he's been pretty solid in the defensive zone. - HonkFortheGoose
thats part of the problem with this team, just a bunch of 'guys" back there. |

who doesn't?
I like a blend, a few offensive, a few shut down and a few that can lay the hammer down would be ideal. |

My recommendation right now would be to put Myers back with Sekera. He played his best hockey last year when the two of them were paired up. Put Leo back with Regehr and have Ehrhoff and Sulzer together.
I will admit, I liked what I saw from Weber during the 13 minutes of ice time he got. I'm guessing he may have seen more had he not been in the box for 17 minutes. |

I am old school... every offensive d-man needs a stay at home d-man....
in video games we are set perfectly....
Myers - Regehr
Ehrhoff - Weber
Leopold - Sulzer
but they just aren't playing to their talent right now... In 2 years time i see us like...
Myers - McNabb
Ehrhoff - Weber
Brennan - Pysyk

judging by the last 50 pages in recent weeks... no one on here appreciates all situation players and minute eaters because they don't have flashy enough stats to back up their salaries... |

I'm fine with all that except Brennan....he wont be here next year I predict, let alone in two.
I bet Weber isnt in that group either, replace him with somebody we sign or trade for. |

I think the general consensus was that if you could remove one fourth line player, move hecht to said fourth line, and then bring in someone who can snipe for the 3rd line that would be best case scenario. |

Offensively those kinda players are overrated. We lack scoring and need guys who can put the puck in the net. We also have to stop sitting on the lead and just ignore what ruff wants. How did we win during the briere drury era??? SCORE SCORE SCORE.

I thought Hoff was good the other night. Someone else thought he was terrible. I thought Myers looked slow and one step behind every play. They thought he played his best game. It's all just a matter of how we choose to interpret the information being presented. |

Pysyk and McNabb will be paired together. I can pretty much guarantee it. They compliment each other well and have looked good for Rochester this year.

Between Brennan and Sekera I know that at least one if not both will be gone by then.. let alone gone by next year...
I chose to go with Brennan staying as Sekera will be dealt for offense i believe. |
