Very Similar indeed. But Moss had his best numbers with the pats and thats when he won the rings. Hasek had his best numbers here in Buffalo and was the best in the league when he was on a average team.

Lindy has been to the playoffs only 4 times in the last 10 years.

He was putting the puck in the net and making plays offensively. Something we were lacking that season....

I don't think throwing a skilled forward on the 4th line is gonna help him learn defense. Its just gonna kill his offensive skills.

Because Darcy has a good track record in getting the job done that each owner has asked of him. Darcy has kept our cupboards stocked as best he was allowed under previous regimes. Contrary to what people think, Lindy is a good coach. Has he always had the tools to succeed? Your a fool if you hink so. Everyone thinks Lindy runs some tight defensive system and that is false. He allows his defensemen to pinch to keep the puck in the offensive zone and create scoring chances. Does he preach defense? Absolutely. I wouldn't want a coach that didn't.

He still might be a good coach, but this team needs a new voice. Look at the Blues. They were a basement team, Hitchcock came in and turned them around quickly without much personnel change.

This team would be above average with the right coach.

He disappeared when they put him on the 4th line. Put Vanek on the 4th line and his numbers will drastically go down. Put anyone on the 4th line for that matter

Yup. But ruff squeezes every bit of talent out of these guys .
Thats why leino did so good, erhoff, myers, stafford,roy, etc.

Ruff was a good coach but his time here in Buffalo needs to come to a end.

Ehrhoff* - has been one of our best Defensemen since coming here. The only thing different for him is that he doesn't have Sedin twins to stack up PP points for him on his breakout passes...
Myers - Also one of our teams best players, you have nothing to say other than the BS that other members on this board make up.
Stafford - Maybe you have me on this one, but I don't think he ever had the drive needed to succeed at this level.
Roy - Really? We got more from him then any team will ever get from him....

You didn't back any of those up with any examples of how Ruff ruined them, so I'm assuming you are just full of poop and throwing out names.

BTW I love your "take away that year" statement on Vanek. Vanek has done nothing but improve as an all around player year after year. Your opinion is now meaningless to me. Is there anyway to mute someone or not see their posts?
