The speed thing is standing out to me.
I dont believe they are this slow up front. They just seem so out of it. I think it may be too much pressure on Schenn and Coots, and they dont really have much of a supporting cast other than Giroux or Briere.
The way Schenn got manhandled by Carlson behind the net on that one play isnt acceptable. Its one thing to lack the skill overall, but the effort needs to improve. - flyer_nutter
G hasn't been the same this year ever, I'm sorry. 4P in 7GP (now prob 8) isn't acceptable. Every other teams (except Wash) is lighting it up, he hasn't been nearly the same payer. Lots of turnovers, and the puck just doesn't stick to his stick like last year. He was a wizard this year. He's struggling out there with pressure this year.
I think losing Hartnell really hurt G. He doesn't have that scorer to pass to anymore. I honestly don't give a flying (frank) if wwe have to give an arm and a leg for a scorer, because if G has to play with 2nd liners the rest of the year, this team is going nowhere, trust me.
Losing Hartnell has killed this team. No PP scorer, and no sniper now. Too much pressure on the kids this year. |

There are countless games every season where horrific calls dominate.
How the league hasnt moved to address this instead of just saying "its part of the game" is insane to me.
On a positive note. Grossman, Coburn and Luke Schenn would be a solid 3 to have around next season. Get some move puck movers on the back end and you could have a good mix. |

Let's take a deep breath, and clear our heads of any bias for a sec.
How could they?? It really is something you just have to deal with. My favorite coach- one of his mottoes was "Refs always suck. They suck for you guys, and they sucked for the other team on another night. And they'll keep sucking every night after this. Deal with it." |

i wouldnt go as far as calling hartnell a sniper but i think his lack of grit and getting pucks hurts girouxs effectiveness. i def agreee giroux needs a sniper to work with. i'm all for bobby ryan. big body, scorer, and wants to be here. get er done! |

I'm surprised he thought to cover it. Think it completely missed his protector...of course, he might have been buying time for his PK unit |

You could see the protector move if you looked closely.
That would still hurt if he the protector hadn't moved lol. You could tell it missed it
That would definitely cause you to lose your breath for a few. I'm surprised he wasn't down for long. Tough guy
Aaaand they score |

They're done.. can't score 2 in a game. Man..this is looking more and more like a lost season. |
