In hiindsight FLyers arent too behind Rangers or Pens problem is both teams are much more talented you have to figure they turn things around before Philly does.

Yeap and you would have JVR....Not sold on Couts or Schenn....Couts has no offensive game whatsover tired of hearing how defensively sound he is he was what the 8th pick in draft you can get those guys in the later rounds. Brayden Schenn should be developed by now or at least further along than he is, he looks lost out there. There is a reason LA was willing to part with him imo.

Growing pains? Patience. Idc about this season honestly. But while we are on the topic, Couturier for Subban as well as the Schenn brothers and Voracek for Robby Ryab, Fowler and some better ice girls from Anahiem.

I treat it like any other team...let it grow for (frank)s sake. There are no quick trade fixes. Keep the picks. Go through the pains. Look at our roster 2 years ago. Look at it now. Too much change.and for the worse.

I agree on the keep the picks. Realistically, if we are gonna not make the playoffs, I'd like to see them come in dead last so that we can at least pick in the top 5. No way we get the top pick as the lottery will ensure it goes to the #14 team lol

Seriously, I do see the team being impatient and switching coaches soon although, that is basically throwing in the towel on the season.

Once we lose today and Tampa beats us 11-0 Tuesday, we'll be in full fail for seth mode.

Couturier definitely has an offensive game. And players develop at their own pace. Schenn is still basically a rookie in this League.

Sportsnet talking heads say that Erskine will get a few game suspension. Really stupid that the refs missed it though.. Even with our nonexistant PP, a 5 min major would have changed the game. It's no value to the Flyers now to have Erskine suspended when Wayne is probably out for a couple weeks.

Simmonds is such a tough character I expected him to come back last night and score a goal, with the packing stacking out of both nostrils.
