We did?
- Rally_Shots

You did. Reason being that the Sabres are going to be a contender for Mackinnon or Jones when the draft come around. I don't mean to sound like a hater, but realistically the Sabres have a very small chance at making the playoffs, but a very good chance at finishing within lottery pick contention.
Or are the Sabres now the favorite to win the Stanley Cup after beating the Bruins last night?

Only took until his 6th year in his contract. I can't bash the guy. He's been unreal

This is my fear for Myers.

Not starting anything about him, just saying.

I know that Thornton will be out, but will Marchands lacerated vagina be healed by then?
- Dwight K. Schrute

Hard to say. He goes to Kaleta's gynecologist so maybe we should call his office?

It's a realistic fear. But in the end if it pays off like it might with Vanek. We will be glad we chose to keep him

very small chance of making the playoffs? We've made 2 of the past 3 years and the one year we didnt make it came in 9th. On top of that its a shortened season so who knows whats going to happen.

You remind me of all the reasons I dont like visiting CT

I think the time in Rochester helped. Since they play the system it gave him more time to get it down and understand what was being asked of him. Especially in the #1 center role.

So the losing team is barred from making a message board chatter after a loss? That rule is really going to hurt this site.

If he continues to struggle or not improve much by the end of next year than I will grow very concerned but I think the most beneficial thing for him is a new coach. I'm not jumping off the fire Lindy bandwagon after defeating the Bruins. Peitrangelo, Karlsson,Doughty have all surpassed him after their teams had a coaching change.

whatever it was... just keep him doing it....

Hodge and Grigo will be an awfully nice 1C and 2C for years to come if progression is continued. Ennis is starting to play stronger as well.

The Sabres won their Stanley Cup last night. Congrats. As far as Thornton getting his ass beat by Scott; it happens. If you never lose a fight in the NHL, than you are fighting the wrong guys.
It will be interesting to see if the next time the Bruins and Sabres meet the score gets out of hand and the Bruins are able to sacrifice Chara, arguably a hall of famer, to fight Scott, arguably hasn't yet learned to skate backwards. Judging by how Chara handled Koci a few seasons ago it would be a pretty good scrap. Scott obviously has the weight advantage, but reach and overall conditioning go to Chara.
Congrats to the Sabres on the win. It was a fun game to watch even if my team lost. I do have a feeling the Bruins will come out next game against the Sabres swinging. Let's hope my NHL Gamecenter Live app doesn't lag like it did this game.
