whatever it was... just keep him doing it....
Hodge and Grigo will be an awfully nice 1C and 2C for years to come if progression is continued. Ennis is starting to play stronger as well. - JVince11
I loved Foligno's game last night too. He was the reason they were able to sustain pressure in the Bruins end a few times. He just looked completely fearless out there. Throwing his body around and doing whatever it took to make the play. |

If he continues to struggle or not improve much by the end of next year than I will grow very concerned but I think the most beneficial thing for him is a new coach. I'm not jumping off the fire Lindy bandwagon after defeating the Bruins. Peitrangelo, Karlsson,Doughty have all surpassed him after their teams had a coaching change. - sbroads24
To be fair, Karlsson has surpassed most of the NHL. |

Now all im worried about is secondary scoring
and leo's next shift and sekerras and enroths next start - hubie
I am not worried about Sekera at all....
Leo and Myers need to maybe get some 3rd pairing minutes for a night until they get their heads straight.
Sulzer hasn't been great his past 2 games either.
Regehr is hurt...
Brennan was ineffective (just like last year in the NHL like I predicted for again this year)
Ehrhoff, Weber, and Sekera seem to be playing the best this season.
Give McNabb his shot by trading some of the other guys... |

I've only seen highlights.. but I have it DVR'd at home and plan on watching the whole thing tonight...
Foligno is one of my favorite players on this team too. His first game against Philly was great and physical but then he fell off until the last 2-3 games...
I can see him wearing an "A" one day. |

That's what makes me suspicious that we might be looking to deal Ennis. It's possible that's one of the reasons they kept Grigo up. We shouldn't have 3 top 6 center's (and i'm being cautious saying this) that are all offensive minded. Cody can play D but he's gelling with Vanek and Pommer. |

Any one heard an update on McCormick or Leino lately???
I never thought I would say this... I am really looking forward to getting them back on the ice. |

Damn.
Sure is a lot of Bruins whining on here today.
When the Sabres lose, we b!tch about them. But the Bruins lose, and oh boy! It couldn't be that the B's PLAYED A TERRIBLE GAME for 50 minutes, could it?!?
Take your loss, and nut up like men. You all sound like big b!tche$. |

Sulzer, still a better option than Brennan and Leo right now. Not really comparable to Myers. |

I would trade Ennis and Stafford in a packaged deal right now for a top 6 winger... rental or not...
Perry, Ryan, Iginla, P. Kane, Duchene, Hornqvist, Heatley, Setoguchi, Chris Stewart, Read, Kessell, E. Kane... anyone that can add a scoring threat to our second line... |

If it wasn't for the goal he scored last night. I can almost guarantee he would have been benched again. He gave the B's their second goal and almost let them tie it in the 3rd. Would rather see Brennan to be honest |

Couldn't agree more...
Ruff has actually been taking Myers and Leo down on ice time each of the last few games.. they both got very limited PK/PP time last night. They are both very close to being below 20 ATOI. |

Yeah, but D-men give up goals just like goalies, and someone is going to be responsible. Brennan has a future, but tommorow, Sulzer is the better option. |

All 3 of those guys have played on the wing before
Girgensons could very well be our 3rd line center in a couple years |

That's exactly what happened. The Defense was swiss (frank)ing cheese. Rask was hung out to dry like bed sheet.
EDIT: When the Sabres lose, we b!tch about them. not exactly true |

Besides Regehr's 5 games....
Weber has averaged the most time on the ice for our PK unit this season in just two games. That says something.
I also find it interesting that Weber's 9 hits is 3rd most behind Regehr's 12 and Myers' team leading 14 hits.
Sekera leads the defense in blocked shots with 17, then Ehrhoff with 13, Weber/Leo with 9.
Weber's two games have been very impressive to me. |

The defense is a tire fire as a whole.
Myers and Leo need to be glued to the press box for a game or two.
Sulzer is..... well theres a reason hes bounced around the league.
Weber is Weber.
Regher is exactly like I said he'd be when they got him, a shell of his former self.
Brennan in't ready, dk if he ever will be either.
Sekera and Hoff are relatively fine. |

Rask has HORRIBLE stats against Buffalo ever since the '09 playoffs... he has like a .820 S% I think. |

The way I look at this team for next season...
Vanek - Hodge - Pommer
Foligno - Grigo - ??
Ott - ?? - ??
?? - McM - Kaleta
Ehrhoff - Sekera
Myers - Weber
McNabb - Pysyk
Brennan
-I think that Leino is bought out.
-McCormick is iffy to be here or not at 1.2M and he is missing because of a finger injury.
-Gerbe is just too small, overpaid at 1.5M, and now ineffective as a sparkplug. Waived.
Stafford/Ennis I can see both being traded this deadline or this summer.

Aquiring these 'past their prime' defensemen really has to stop. To think we've had two in a row now is kinda frustrating. |
