Weber has been a pleasant suprise as far as not turning it over like he's known for. He's hasn't been a liability but someone earlier called him a monster and I don't know I agree with that. Ehrhoff still needs to do more offensively IMO, he had a nice PP assist but let's face it it was a 5 on 3 for 2 min, if they wouldn't have scored it would be a problem. Sekera has been our most consistent as far as what you would expect to what he's actually done. Myers was improving up until period 2 last night, and Leo just flat out needs to go.

You did. Reason being that the Sabres are going to be a contender for Mackinnon or Jones when the draft come around. I don't mean to sound like a hater, but realistically the Sabres have a very small chance at making the playoffs, but a very good chance at finishing within lottery pick contention.

Our D hasn't been the same since we lost Butler. He was the cornerstone of that unit, hell, maybe of the franchise as a whole.

IMO I think Myers is struggling with learning how to skate with added weight. He has gained 30lbs since entering the leauge. He was 200lbs when drafted. Hes now over 230. I really feel he has lost his biggest attribute and that was his agility/Skating.

He needs to basically re-learn his game with his increasing size.

Aquiring these 'past their prime' defensemen really has to stop. To think we've had two in a row now is kinda frustrating.

I wish I could find the interview again... He said that he does ahve a really hard time adding weight to his frame and that he is on a 4 workout a day program in the offseason and eating like 5,500 calories per day. He has said numerous times that it takes him awhile to get his conditioning and legs under the new weight every season.

I didn't think he added more than 5 lbs this past season? I thought the 220 that he is at now was permanent?
