funny to see how tough you think you guys are considering you got a goon who plays ~3 minutes a game and gets roughly double that in PIMs, and the nice cheap shots you laid out too. not to mention that your coach called a time out with 15 seconds left because the big bad bruins put a rookie out on the ice at the end of a game...how dare they! we'll see how the next game goes, i'm guessing it'll be a bit more edgy. stay classy buffalo!

Do not discount the importance of symbolic acts. The big bad bruin has been wounded. He is therefore dangerous. Yet, the wound exposes a vital vulnerability. If every team starts playing the Bruins tough they will become even more vulnerable.

I just want them to pick up and move along though. Don't get too high. There's still a lot of hockey that needs to be played.

Last year Ottawa went into Boston near the end of the season and played them physical, banged them hard and beat them. Saw same thing happen to the Bruins in the playoffs.

The Bruins do not handle being banged all that well. You need to hit Marchand in particular. Last night the Bruins ran out of gas. The Sabres did what every team needs to do. Bang the Bruins at every chance and, remarkably, they stop hitting.

Boston announcers really struggled last night. They did not know how to handle the physical let down of the Bruins.

Exorcised demons or not I don't expect to see the same effort from the B's the next time they play Buffalo.

They're still the better team and I wouldn't bet against them in a 7 game series against Buffalo. Last night was an anomaly IMO. Buffalo is not in the same universe as Boston.

What I really like about the whole thing is that it got under Marchand's skin.

I just didn't understand what the big deal was about it really. They put the McDermid kid out there. Lindy was just making sure one of his wingers didn't get lured into a fight.
