Yup. we needed to change the culture of the team for a game exactly like this last one in Boston. Roy puts up points when he's healthy. Buffalo fans have just heard do many stories about his attitude on and off the ice and were sick of him....points or not. Definitely a good trade for Buffalo.

From what I hear from my good friend that lives in Chicago the fans feel the same way about Kane. Or at least that's how they felt last year.

You can put up points in a way that makes it difficult for other players to do their own jobs. That's happened, and that's exactly why the team looked miles better when he left the lineup in 2011.

I don't this so. I think Vanek is just a streaky guy and the beating he takes in front of the net wears on him. Which causes him to go "missing" in seasons.

funny to see how tough you think you guys are considering you got a goon who plays ~3 minutes a game and gets roughly double that in PIMs, and the nice cheap shots you laid out too. not to mention that your coach called a time out with 15 seconds left because the big bad bruins put a rookie out on the ice at the end of a game...how dare they! we'll see how the next game goes, i'm guessing it'll be a bit more edgy. stay classy buffalo!
