Great so no changes from last game. Bickel, Rupp, Asham all playing forwards again tonight. Sounds like a wining lineup

I don't expect a win tonight but if we are able to beat an offense that his lethal right now it will go a long way for confidence.

I know we all want JT called up but what happened to Haley, I'd like to see what he can do, I hated the Asham signing and hate it even more now.

- cranford93

I would rather have Haley over Bickel as well

Haley and Manishter need to be called up. They have to be better than Bickel, Rupp or Asham.

Just give me some players who can actually play. This riding only 7-8 forwards a game is going to destroy the top dogs by seasons end. They need to find a way to be able to roll 4 lines.

It is pretty funny that the Rangers decided to give Biron his first start against probably the hottest offensive team in the East who is undefeated at home lol

Throwing in the towel or trying to motivate an inconsistent team..? We'll see.

Biron was due for a start; Lundqvist can't start all 48 games. The Lightning offense has been great and the Rangers really can't afford to be sloppy tonight.

Another too many men on the ice penalty and I think we see Tortorella's brain explode on the bench

Hank needed a day off. The team has talked about how having those days to fine tune his craft with Allaire on those off says was invaluable last year. Hank has not been his usual reliable self this year and could use the extra work with his goalie coach.

He definitely is not himself and Biron has to start, at the vert least, eight games this season. Hopefully those extra off days help him because he is the obvious key to any success the Rangers garner, each and every year.

I hope I am wrong but for the first time in a while I don't have much confidence going into a game. With the way they are playing, the lack of depth in their lineup, playing a very hot team right now with a backup goaltender. This could be bad. I hope I am pleasantly surprised haha

This is exactly the type of game the Rangers will win. You know, the minute the masses start losing hope, the backup goalie is in, that's when they'll play their best game of the year. Book it: Rangers 5 - 1.

I like the Lightning 5-4 in a shootout.

I am not confident going into these next three upcoming games. Lightning, winners of five straight and boasts the best offense and power play through these first two weeks. Then it is onto two teams that, no matter how they are playing, get up for games against the Rangers.

Unfortunately, despite the 5-1 drubbing against Pittsburgh today, the Devils have been playing decent hockey and the Islanders are playing really good hockey.

Rangers don't pick up the pace soon, they are going to be fighting for the 6th, 7th or 8th seed in the East.

Just hard to see them doing it with their current lineup. Really need Callahan and Kreider to get healthy fast. Hope the top line is ready to go off. Need them to produce big numbers.

If they do win, with Callahan and Kreider out, it is going to have to be by playing the way they did most of last year. Wins are all I am concerned with; if it is as entertaining as watching paint dry than s be it.
