If they do win, with Callahan and Kreider out, it is going to have to be by playing the way they did most of last year. Wins are all I am concerned with; if it is as entertaining as watching paint dry than s be it. - MidnightMarauder
They need to ramp up their physical game, not counting fights. Aside from a rare shift from Boyle and an occasional clearing of the crease by Staal, I haven't seen the Rangers playing physically like they did last year. |

If the powerplay struggles early, I hope they give Gilroy a chance at the point. If you are going to play him, at least let him use his offensive skills a little |

IMO he should be on the third line with Bickel on 3rd pair D. It's a waste to have Ferriero skate with two statues, Boyle and Rupp. At least with Gilroy, who can skate, and Ferriero they'd have two wings with speed. |

The more talent the better. Gilroy needs a chance to play, I think he can do well for the Rangers if given the right opportunity.

Pretty much guarantees he will play under 5 minutes as the 6th dman |

Problem with Gilroy is he is a offensive defenseman who provides no offense would rather see him playing 4th line wing. Rangers have too many tough guys in their line up. Do not need three of Rupp Asham and Bickle one in the line up is enough.

Brian boyle is my x-factor tonight. I felt he played pretty well last night. Needless to say secondary scoring is the key tonight. It'd be nice for nash to pot one also.

Sometimes playing the back u goalie helps because the team concentrates more on defense. Need to get back to what we do best offense will come rangers do not need to be an offensive juggernaut so score the timely goals. |
