this is the book of Luke we were afraid of...the good news is that these mistakes are the kind that can be reviewed and corrected. schenn can be an iffy decision maker and that is the toughest part of the dman's job in this league. he's not a dazzling puck mover so he has to keep it simple...and while he's watching video, his bro could use a primer on d zone play.

i guess ;-) we won because we had the better goalie...

just thinking out loud that the flyers are lacking 4 - that's 4 - top 6 pwr forwards out of the lineup as compared to last yr. the 2 with the best hands, jagr and JVR, aren't coming back...

with bryz playing well and a d that's prob better at mashing than rushing, it would seem to make sense for the team to make some system adjustments so that forwards aren't caught back deep so often. this type of adjustment has been suggested already by other posters.
