What situation? - hscesq
"Bs who are strong down the middle it always turns into Pleks vs the rest of their centers, beause the rest of OUR centers are nowhere near as defensively strong so all the pressure is on pleks"
for an entire game, by the 3rd he's gonna be pretty tired naturally |

Then he should tell the coach he needs to rest and stay on the bench.
The two goals happened less than two minutes into the third period. He rested for 20 minutes just before that. |

Pleks for example was 52% on the draws which is pretty good, but Bergeron was 62%, Krejci was 69%, Peverly was 71% and Kelly was 62%
which means every other center not named Pleks on the Habs got destroyed
DesHarnais 33%, Galchenyuk 12%.....poor Pleks thats his backup |

Galchenyuk is 19. he'll be fine. the Bruins are lucky to have the center depth they have. most teams don't. and besides these stats you guys played a very good game. i would say the Habs outplayed the Bruins for a good portion of the game. Rask was very good. |

no it tells you what kind of pressure he has on him, meaning he has to be on the ice for every key draw amongst (and more often) other things the other 2 just arent as defensively sound
although its not like he played 27 minutes, i'm sure he could have played a better game but i wouldnt underestimate the pressure he faces when we play a contender |

its because he was tired, 20 minutes between the periods was not long enough

agreed, we're not quite there yet but it'll come, either way though DD has to get better allround at his position than just feeding passes |

The Habs outplayed the Bruins in the 1st period.
At least, they looked like a team that belongs in this league, which wasn't the case last year. |

He's on teams radars this year and won't get a free pass. Teams know how to play him and they just play him more physically.
I like DD, but I don't see him duplicating his success from last year. |
