Please add Rask's Saturday night swan dive to the list.

Thanks.

Not only was the Leafs player PUSHED INTO RASK BY THE BRUINS PLAYER, but Rask was also a foot or two outside of the paint.

Even then, contact was minimal and Rask sold it.

Leafs got jobbed.

This has been going on since easily last season. Kuntiz got called on 4-6 of them. Why is it an issue now?

Exactly, why does it deserve a NON-rumor blog now?

Colin Campbell has reviewed the incident and says it's fine until his son plays for another team.

Gregory Campbell is worth more than Sidney Crosby, I promise you that.

Because two games JUST THIS WEEKEND were impacted by these phantom "interference" calls.

Leafs goal disallowed, lose 1-0.

Ottawa goal disallowed, lose 2-1.

Both goals would have tied the game.

Both games were also divisional.

Montreal got handed another game by this very call against Ottawa on Sunday night!
It was the worst call of the season.. So far Angel Boy Carey Price hit Jacob Silverberg with his blocker 2 ft out side his crease !! Not only was the game tying "good" goal taken away! He actually received a ridiculous goalie interferance call on the play..
If never been more pissed about a call in my 13 + years of watching NHL..

There's been plenty of these calls so far this season. The blackhawks beat the Columbus Bluejackets 3-2 on Jan 26th and this game featured a similar play. The Bluejackets scored a legit goal and the referee ruled it off as goalie interference. Now as someone who is both a diehard Blackhawks fan and also somewhat of a gambling addict who had money on the game, I couldn't really complain at the time. It did feel like a hollow victory considering there was no reason why the goal should have been disallowed, the contact between Crawford and the Bluejackets player (forget who it was) was incidental and minor and didn't prevent Crawford from making a save, he just didn't make the save. Ridiculous if this keeps up they need to seriously evaluate these calls and possibly use video review to determine if the referee made the correct call.

reimer tripped marchand and the goal was disallowed so your beloved buds still lose 2-1. say it with me, BOTH goals should have counted.

You're missing the goal where Quick tied his pad around the Oilers Gagner's foot and the goal was called back. Again, not in the crease and the ref told Krueger it was not due to interference but that Gagner didn't try to dislodge himself which is obviously shown to be not true. This goal was called, put on the scoreboard, time went by and then the ref was talked out of it.

Also the same officials ignored interference in the next Oiler game when a calgary player ran Dubnyk IN the crease and stood above him when and stood there while a rebound was put in. Ref said he was behind the goalie and couldn't see what was happening in the crease. However he didn't blow the play dead when the puck would have then disappeared from site before it came out for the rebound, nor did he need to see through Dubnyk to see a player standing above him and that is why there are 2 refs/linesmen.

My point is that they are not just waiving goals off, there is no consistency to the calls and the officiating as a whole has been deciding the outcome of too many games.

NHL needs better rules for reviewing disallowed goals. The idea that certain easily review-able scenarios are just not allowed to be reviewed is asinine.

I, at least, expected a Washington-vancouver rumour today as every other media spot in the hockey world knows that Gillis and team were at their game on the weekend.

Oh well, I would trade 2 creases and a trapazoid for more computerized advertisments on the glass.

even if its incidental, get your ass out of the crease because likely that is where the puck will rebound on to.

The Wild has traded Darroll Powe to the New York Rangers for Michael Rupp, sources have confirmed.

Nick Palmieri, a right winger playing in Houston, was also part of the deal, as he goes to the Rangers as well.

They can call it the Tomas Holmstrom rule.

At 1-1, the game would have been much different. At least it would have been a bit more exciting than watching the ACC staff make the ice.

As for whether or not Boston's goal should have counted, even Seguin knew it wouldn't. Personally, I do think that they were waiting for a chance to blow the play dead for Marchand, and typically the Boston player would have to touch it first.
