I want to see him do well. I do. But his name gets mentioned almost as needlessly as Shelly's does around here. He tops out as a 3rd pairing D man. Could he help? Theoretically. But he's really not going to be solving many issues at all.

I tend to disagree with most on Gustafsson as I feel he is going to be better than a #6. The kid has serious promise and I really like his ability to skate the puck.

For any move it's all about cost, no need to give up too much for somebody that it leaves another area open while also hurting them down the road.

If he does I cant see that chance happening here so much. We have a very good 2nd line already in place in Coburn and Grossman. Plus we have Mezzy and Schenn, one of whom will probably be on the third line next year.

I know there are always injuries and such but I'm not so sure Gus can ever be any better than a 2nd pairing guy on a weak D group. I just havent seen enough yet. I'm comfortable with him coming in and splitting time in the last slot with Foster, Lilja and the like until he pulls himself away from that pack.

I have sent private messages to him and asked him nicely if I can call him and make friends and try to resolve some things but he plain out refuses.

I completely understand. I just feel the kid needs to get more experience playing at the NHL level. He can become a very reliable puck moving defenseman for this team.

I've gotten banned for it too. Absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. With the manner in which he talks to people he brings it on himself. But it ain't worth the effort anyway.

What a joke? Keeping him around for the last couple weeks, then an injury happens and they send him back and bring up Summers. Demand a trade Rundblad this is insulting and not a great way to build confidence the way you are being handled.

I stand behind my faith in Rundblad despite this announcement.

It is obvious the Coyotes only want OEL and Yandle to carry the load offensively and Summers is a stay at home type which fits their style of play. Rundblad will be traded very soon.
