Well Tye McGinn is playing like he wants to stay in the NHL. B Schenn is playing like he wants to replace McGinn in the AHL.

He badly needs to simplify his game. He's no where around the puck, or the net. And he's not playing well defensively. Look what Sestito did just by going to the net. Tye McGinn is working his ass off and is being rewarded with icetime. He had 17:58 of ice time. More then any forward not named Couturier, Giroux, and Briere. And it's all due to hard work. Schenn needs to watch McGinn and follow suit.

He just plants his butt right in front of the net and isn't moved very easily. I'm just about ready to think this guy is a legitimate top 9 forward, which would be quite a coup for the organization.

great team win. that's the way theyre going to have to play against the best teams. bryz was terrific.

have to agree about B schenn...he looks lost out there at times. he has developed a bad habit of falling a lot and making desperation plays when the calm ones are what's called for. his brother had a very clean nite.

I wouldn't mind if he sat in the pressbox for a couple of games when Simmonds comes back. Hell, leave Sestito in there until Schenn shows he deserves to play.

Bryzgalov has to stay beyond this season. I have no interest in looking for a goalie all over again. Briere brings a sneaky element to this team.

I think they were better against the Rangers. Tampa had quite a few great chances that Bryz came up huge on. The Rangers had chances, too, but it didn't like as many that were as high quality as what Bryz faced tonight.

Absolutely, in my humble opinion. One hell of an effort. Love to see that and hopefully they can string together a run here. Maybe 7-3 in their next 10 and go from there?

They didn't give up a lot of shots tonight. But they gave up some really good chances. Not often are you going to keep Stamkos off the scoreboard with some of the chances he had.
