We won't see Kesler until mid-March at the earliest, probably closer to April, why burn him out when we're going to be capable of holding the line until then for the most part. Honestly, at this point with how crazy the NHL is because of the lockout and how many injuries are happening on fluke plays and all, does it make sense to bring him back and have him be injured again? Booth will be back soon anyways, and will help our offense, even if he just stands in front of the net and screens goalies. - DariusKnight
Booth in 5 weeks Kesler next week |

I hope they Dont Send Schroeder down. I think in order to allow Kes to gain his legs, you throw him on the Third line for a while and let him play a defensive roll until he hits his stride.
Keep schroeder playing on the Second. |

I'm fine with that. Or balance the two lines. Either way Schroeder has earned a long look.

Gillis was on the radio the other day and said Schroeder has impressed everyone in the organization. I think he's here to stay. When Kesler's back it's bye bye Malhotra. |

After the free preview month was over, my wife went out and got me Centre Ice.
Now she complains that I watch too much hockey...

Somebody posted a link on HF saying he would make his season start within 10 days.
Not quite sure how legit it is, but mid-March also seems a bit extreme.
I'm happy with him waiting till he's %100 healthy, but I have a feeling he's been healthier than he and his agent have been letting on.
edit: Just curious, do you have a source where you heard mid-March at the earliest? |

All the reports I've heard have said he'd be back pretty soon, as well.
I'd like to know where DK is getting mid-March from? |

From his own mouth and his agent's words. They said he'd be back closer to the playoffs. |

I heard that, too. But that was a while ago.
Wasn't that actually said before the CBA was agreed upon? |

Any day Leafs will realize who they are and hit the crapper again , I 'll keep Schultz |
|
|
|
It was a joke
The only reason why i would want ovi is for our powerplay
Kes is my fav canuck cuz in my opinion he plays with the biggest heart in the canucks
It really sucks that he has to go through injuries like these because if he didnt, he would be a consistent 40-50 goal scorer imo - RF_4eva
My fav to totally agree. |

You want Theodore?
Only having two goalies will cost you.
Edit: I see you are getting Hiller, and bending nucker nation over. |
