My fave was the drunken woman in our row. She was lit before sitting down with her sig other. Near the end of the 1st she yells out, "LET'S GO, RANGERS!"
For some reason, they didn't come back after the 1st intermission. - Flyskippy
You could have found them down stairs in the bar on then 11th street side. Makes it easy to smoke and drink and watch the game before endangering the welfare of the public.

I assumed that's where they went. They could watch the game without fear of someone hearing her.
He's got really excellent speed and his hands aren't bad. He could easily be a faster Steve Ott type guy.

30some points, faceoff prowess and tough defensive assignments from rinaldo would be great, but that seems about as likely as gervais anchoring our PK.
edit: luuuuuuuke looking good on that goal against there

That bathroom doesn't get a ton of traffic during the game if she needed to heave or pass out and hit her head on the floor and bleed which happens way more than you would think.
Not true at all. Michael Vick publicly supported Obama, and I'm counting the minutes until he's gone from the Eagles roster. Conversely, one of my favorite former Flyers, Jeremy Roenick, was a pro-Mitt Romney guy.
Also, I have never once said that it wasn't Thomas' right not to speak his mind. Feel free. I served in the military for four years, in part because I believe in freedom of speech. Regardless of his beliefs or whether or not I agree with them, I fully support his right to express them.
My issue lies with how he decided to exercise his rights. Making a blanket statement on facebook and then refusing to further comment, he left it to his teammates to answer those inane questions. Part of freedom of speech is understanding the consequences of exercising that right and the impact it will have on you and those around you.
I have issues with the media and how it reports things, because in large part the media has helped make politics into the divisive mess that it is today. Blindly partisan commentary by "journalists" on both sides of the political spectrum have tainted the water to the point where it's hazardous to one's health.
That said, it's the way the world is. Thomas should have recognized that his public statements would create a firestorm. Once he made the statements, refusing to comment on them, he opened the door to the distractions the team faced. By continuing to make statements on facebook, without taking questions, he compounded the problem. Notice, I haven't said a single word about the content of Thomas' words or statements.
Next time, before making a blanket statement about how I'd react, maybe you should think twice and then not make the statement at all because assuming how one would respond, without knowing that person is idiotic. - Jsaquella

Common mistake. First off, the third child is always the evil one, and second, never let the kids outnumber the adults.
Just asking from trouble that way. - Jsaquella
Dont want to call my third one evil just yet but when i raise my voice to my older two they straighten right up but my youngest who is 4 just looks at me and smirks. He is gonna be a handfull.

First off - he owes nobody.. NOBODY.. further comment. He made his statement.. Boom.. that's it.. it's done. But people couldn't just let it be. They had to keep prying him, and his teammates... stirring the pot. Second-The media were the ones asking all of the questions and stirring crap up. Blame them.. not Thomas. Third-His teammates didn't have to say jack. Just say "No comment". Where under their job description does it say "...other duties as assigned, and answer stupid question from the media regarding an off ice incident where a teammate made a post on Facebook about his political beliefs."?
You're free to have your opinion of the guy.. as I am. And personally, I feel the guy is a real dbag on the ice. But I'm sick of seeing people rip him for how he acted during this whole thing, when he wasn't the one doing anything. He quietly said he wasn't going, and posted why.. and boom goes the dynamite all over the news.
