why do americans keep electing obama if he is as bad as you say?
- Crimsoninja

Well in America all the Big Media players, and most entertainers are in the Democrats' back pocket and basically campaign for them and against the GOP. There are a lot of low information voters in America and they tend to believe what Oprah, Jon Stewart, NBC and the others tell them.

I agree with you , The Right Honourable Stephen Harper is one of the Prime Ministers we've had in a very long time.

He dropped the GST by 2%, brought in TFSAs, brought in the Children’s Fitness Tax Credit, increased and expanded Universal Child Care Benefit, negotiated and signed Free Trade Agreements with the European Union and Korea last year, and has eliminated the federal deficit.

Sorry Worst*

Bringing down the GST isn't necessiraly a good thing chief.
Fitness tax means nothing..
TFSA was not his idea.
The deficit is not eliminated .

Harper is half the PM that Chretien was. Hell even Martin was better. Fuk the PC's.

So why do Canadians ( in the last three elections) keep Him and the CPC in power?
- Doppleganger

why because its hillbillies like you but unfortunately Harper's foreign policy is stinky and Trudeau will be our next PM. woo woo

Pretty sure studies have shown viewers of the Daily Show are actually more educated than viewers of Fox News

So True D'oh will be PM you think.

Please explain what he has to offer, that will persuade informed voters to vote for the liberal candidate in their riding?

So you would have preferred an increase of 2% in the GST?? Do you keep track of all your purchases and send an addition 2% of your after tax dollars to the Government now to make up for the 2% reduction?

The Tax-Free Savings Account was introduced by the Conservative Party of Canada in their 2008 federal budget.
It came into effect on January 1, 2009, all under Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

I'm glad you brought up former PM Chretien.

He was the PM who sent our Canadian Military to fight the Taliban in the deserts of Afghanistan.

He made sure that they stood out against the dry brown terrain for the Taliban sharpshooters, by equipping them with Bright Green Jungle fatigues.

He also cancelled the EH 101 Helicopter contract, when he entered office as PM, and then our military had no choice but to drive out to their forward positions in the minimally armoured Iltis jeeps that directly resulted in 97 of the 132 deaths by being so susceptible to IEDs ans suicide bombers.

Canada has no rotor aircraft capable of flying in the extreme heat and mountains of Afghanistan after years of questionable helicopter decisions in Ottawa, such as when the Chretien government aborted the purchase of the EH-101, which cost half a billion dollars in penalties -- the price of about 40 Chinooks.

As a result, frontline combat troops with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry fighting in the neighbouring province of Kandahar have been resupplied mostly by convoys that run a daily gauntlet of land mines, improvised explosives and suicide bombers.

read it all at

So the blood of those soldiers are on Chretiens' hands for cancelling the EH 101 contract.

When Harper took over as PM, he arranged transport for our Canadian Military, by helicopter, with the Dutch, that alone vastly reduced the number of casualties........... and then Harper re equipped our Canadian Military, with armoured vehicles that were up to the task, to replace the fragile death traps the Iltus jeeps were, that Chretien supplied the military with.

This clip was shot on election day. Some people who voted for Obama were asked some very basic questions about the people running. What we see is a great illustration how the media had a big hand in forming the views of voters. The Palin stuff is especially eye opening.

Back it up if you can. Or can you just hurl insults, and think that makes your point valid?

I see you could not counter my facts and supporting links about Chretien.......... can't you back up any of your claims??

Your silence speaks volumes.

Well there's no point for YOU to get into a discussion, becasue all you've done is insult the Prime Minister of Canada, making claims that you can't or won't back up.

If you could put forth a logical argument to support your assertions then perhaps you would gain a level on credibility with people.

I, for example, blew out you claim that J Chretien was a better PM, by using facts about how he put our Military in harms way with his policies and lack of support.

All I get back from you is silence, and insults.

Perhaps you should do a little research before shooting off at the mouth.

Here's an easy one. I supported the 2% cut in the GST, and you seen to think it was not...............why?
